I visited on a weekday for one of their Lab Nights and had some truly amazing food! Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. My server, Katja, was incredibly sweet — she took the time to explain each dish in detail and happily answered all my questions.

The amount of food you got for the price was a steal! I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to enjoy delicious, unique Pakistani cuisine.

Also, I have to say — having tried Naan in Paris, I was surprised to find that this place actually makes better Nana!

A Pakistani gem… we went on Lab Night. It’s means that you get served whatever they are experimenting with. Cost is fixed at $35 per person, doesn’t include alcohol/ cocktails. They also do not take tips. Anyhow, we went on a Monday night lab night. Was slightly quiet, we figured due to being Monday night.
Cocktails are unique and yummy. Great titles and twists to some classics. Wine menu is less desirable, drinkable but this is not the establishment known for wine.
Food plates started arriving… and we were mesmerized. The buttered sweet naan with cinnamon dusting and side of yoghurt/espresso dipping sauce! This is the slightly crazy sounding stuff that actually tastes amazing. We tore into that naan like nones’ business. Every dish that came out made us think, eat, think some more,… in total 5-6 plates were served including a light dessert riff on carrot cake and halwa, garnished with dried cranberries for a wisco touch! We were three people and it was plenty of food and some leftovers. They even asked if we wanted more of anything we tasted – so, nope chances are you are not going home hungry. Can’t wait to do it again.

If you love eating adventurously and can handle surprises, do a lab night! Enjoy!

Such a thoughtful, intentional restaurant and menu. Most recently, our group ordered one of every item. All unique, flavorful, and memorable. Some of our favorite dishes: roasted beets, chicken and chickpea, salmon and noodle. The servers are attentive. The cocktails are distinctive. It’s an overall great experience, especially when you can share several plates with your table. Great Willy street option!

Lab night is a pretty incredible opportunity. 6 dishes for ~$35/person. Each dish is a new one, meaning that you’re always getting to experience something different. We stumbled upon it and now have plans to go often. It felt super upscale while being really affordable.

Sultan was an interesting place to grab dinner! The dishes were unique while the naan was much larger than expected! Prices were a bit high but made sense given their philosophy of no tipping which deserves respect in itself!

I recommend this spot for anyone looking for a intriguing place to grab a meal!

We went on what is called lab night. Innovative dishes you just get to try, no ordering for 35 per person. We loved it, not all our party loved everything, but we enjoyed the experience, freshness and thought every dish was prepared with.

I had a great old fashioned, my son had something with the name roses in it and loved it. Really want to come back and enjoy the menu next time, but what a gem.

first time eating here with a friend. We absolutely loved every moment of our night out with Sultan. I love eating out and I have never left a review, but… The food was delicious sharing small plates was easy but the table did get quite crowded. The drinks were excellent. The service was pleasant, informative, and prompt without being overbearing. During our meal we kept saying how we couldn’t wait to come back to try more. Thank you, I will certainly be back.

The service was unfortunately not great, but it looked like it was due to understaffing. We had a reservation but still waited about 30 minutes to get seated, even though several tables were empty. After finishing our food, we waited about 20 more minutes for the check before eventually walking to the front to ask for it. It was disappointing because I was really looking forward to eating here.

We ordered several items but unfortunately none of them stood out for good reasons. Overall the food lacked much flavor. The lobster risotto had underwhelming flavors and the cut up lobster pieces were extremely small and dry despite being $44. The duck was overcooked and dry as well, and had smaller pieces were that tasted burnt. The nariyali sabzi methi was alright but only had 2-3 pieces of mushroom.

I did enjoy the flavor of the paneer shiso wraps, but the shiso leaves were laughably small and thin (smaller than the palm of my hand). They practically disintegrated when touching the paneer, making it impossible to use them as an actual wrap (this greatly confused me and my partner). When we received our check, the server asked us for feedback and we mentioned the quality of the leaves. The server agreed and said they hear the complaint often and their supplier was hit or miss. This was surprising to hear. If a restaurant is aware of an issue why would they still serve it, or at least without some sort of comment?

The naan and chai were enjoyable but unfortunately they were overshadowed by the rest of the food and service.

I really enjoyed Lab Night. I liked how I didn’t have to make any decisions about what to order, and each course was a fun surprise! All the food was delicious, though the courses did get spicier and spicier. I needed extra raita to eat the last dinner dish. Dessert did not disappoint either – coconut samosa; yum!

We came for the Gulab Valentines dinner and Oh. My. Gosh. This was genuinely one of the best meals we have ever eaten. This was an experience like no other! The flavors of every dish were perfectly balanced and everything was incredibly delicious. The chef and wait staff were extremely kind as well! I can’t wait to come back!
