I went for the first time and loved the experience from start to finish. The cafe is so warm and welcoming and the owners were so attentive. I got the breakfast sandwich and a latte, both which were great. And I shared a butterscotch and maple scone with my friend and that was incredible as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Sweet Pea’s Cafe is such a cozy and charming little spot. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting — the kind of place where you want to slow down and stay awhile.

I had a chai tea, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly balanced and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The Sunrise Sandwich was also excellent: fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without feeling heavy.

We also picked up a couple of their jams to take home, and I can’t wait to try them.

Definitely a lovely place worth visiting! ✨

Well this place is adorable! I stopped in for a coffee with my toddler and absolutely loved our stay. The latte was delicious and they had a great selection of seasonal flavors. The red velvet cupcake we tried was the best I had ever had (the icing was more like whipped cream where it is light and not as sweet as a traditional cream cheese frosting). After our first red velvet cupcake, I went back and bought all they had so I could share with our family. They have a great selection of products from Maine along with a sweet connection with most of the family-run businesses. We bought a bag of sweets to give as gifts. The cherry on top was that Santa was coming to do a story-time, which my toddler was very excited for. I will absolutely be back.
There is plenty of seating for all group sizes. Also, they have a good selection of wines and actual lunch foods that I didn’t try.

Large space, pretty and uncluttered… Can’t hurt to have a couple more 2 to 4 person tables that are not high tops.
Good dark roast coffee.
Cheese in Caesar Salad is good (boxed to-go)
Nice looking croissant on the shelf, will try it next time!
Wine closet (about 30% full, so I’m sure it’ll grow)
Access from behind Sleep number store, or road near Cookout

My daughter and I had the most amazing Mommy-Daughter Date at Sweet Pea’s! This wonderful Cafe and Specialty Shop specializes in homemade baked goods and cafe entrees using locally sourced ingredients as well as specialty treats from Maine. The owner and culinary chef, Rachel, and her staff are an absolute delight, making our experience even more memorable. The food was truly amazing! From the Kitchen Sink Delight Truffle Dessert, to my favorite – the Fruity Chicken Salad, the Sugar Cookie Latte, the Customizable Charcuterie Board, and the Maine Whoopie Pie – every bite was a taste of bliss! I’m so excited for Rachel and her team! Whether you’re looking for a tasty bite and latte, a glass of wine paired with a cute cheese, cracker and meat spread, or need catering for your next party/ event, you’ll be thrilled with Sweet Pea’s delectable quality cuisine. Don’t miss out on this hidden!

We had our daughter’s 5th birthday party here. It was scheduled on short notice. We requested a tea party and they took care of EVERYTHING. Best decision we ever made. They had a beautiful place setting. So many cute finger sandwiches, chocolates and macaroons. Fans and flowers for each kid was a lovely touch. Then they all did cookie decorating after tea service which everyone loved. The best part was the charcuterie board and prosecco for the grownups. We HIGHLY recommend having your daughter’s party here. They did a wonderful job of executing this picture perfect party.

This was our first visit and sadly the last because I was disappointed in the sandwich I received. The bagel was supposed to be a toasted salt bagel and it was a soft ‘sweet’ bagel that tasted odd with the lox, cream cheese and avocado. The bagel tasted more like a frozen Lender’s bagel. Definitely not fresh as would be expected. I did not eat the bread and took my plate up to the counter to let them know that I wasn’t happy with the sandwich. They said, “Sorry” and that was it.

A spacious and welcoming café with excellent cappuccinos and delicious homemade cookies. The friendly host shared the fascinating history behind the place, adding a personal touch to the visit. They offer a diverse selection of products, including wines and freshly made sandwiches. There’s also a designated area for working on a laptop, making it a great spot for both relaxation and productivity. Highly recommended!
