Cute little restaurant with nice bar and decent beer selection. Staff very friendly and helpful if you have questions about the menu.
Stopped in for lunch on a Friday and it was pretty busy. I ordered the brisket sandwich which comes with one side. The brisket was very tough and there are only 2 choices for sauce- hot bbq or regular. Neither were very good so I mixed the two on my sandwich to help break down the meat while chewing. The smoke flavor was good as was the smoke ring so really disappointed it came out like leather!
The side dish was called Seasonal Cole slaw and it was excellent! Nice twist on regular slaw by adding kale and radicchio and a couple other goodies.
May go back to try the pulled pork but they need to add a couple of more sauces for their condiments or vastly improve the two they offer.

Checked this place and sorry to say I was sadly disappointed. Probably should have known better because the parking lot was empty. I got the three meat combo, which consisted of baby back ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. It also came with two sides and cornbread. The meal came out lukewarm and the ribs and brisket weren’t that good. The pulled pork was pretty good though. Also the cornbread came out cold as well. The Mac and cheese was and pork and beans were pretty decent as well. Service was good also, but for $38 bucks I’d expect superior quality food.

In town for business and the BBQ place came highly recommended. This is a really good BBQ place. I had the pulled pork and was really happy with that choice. Pork was done really well with a good smoke flaver. All the sauces that I tried also had good flavor. Pass on the onion rings…wholesale fare. It’s worth the trip but the place is pretty small so make sure you go early or later or be prepared to wait.

This place is as close to Texas BBQ that you can get . I had the 3 meat platter with brisket, St Louis ribs (3 ribs) and hot sausage links. They have a mild and hot BBQ sauce but the food can stand on its own without it.

The meat is good, but portions are small for the price. It’s the first decent BBQ place I’ve found since we moved to New England. I had the brisket and hot link and was reminded of my many years in Houston. Both meats were better than average. Our waitress was pleasant, but definitely had too many tables to manage by herself. We did have to wait a bit for drinks and our bill, but other than that it was a good experience.

Great place! Food is delicious, fresh off the smoker in most cases. They cater well to special requests, and service is always great. The sides are mostly good, with a few sides that cater to particular tastes. Some food is big for the price, but others are normal size for what you’d expect for real BBQ. They also have a great beer selection which makes it even better.
Suggest the brisket and homemade chips.

Coming from Oklahoma, we have finally found very respectable BBQ. We will definitely be back. The brisket and turkey were great. I’ll their TX Caviar is also a great surprise. The guacamole is a good addition if you are up for it. Overall a great restaurant and I was surprised they aren’t busier. This caliber of BBQ in the south has a line out the door, and sell out just after lunch time. Strongly recommended for a great southern meal.

Oh my word… The food here is amazing. Try the brisket!!! Great REAL BBQ, straight from Texas. Smoked all day, tender, flavorful, delicious.
I love being able to have true BBQ, since I am a New Englander and have never been to Texas. Just walking in to this place, the people are super friendly and happy. The owners are always willing to chat and are great people.
The prices are a little high, but I’m telling you, it’s WORTH IT!
