So, following social media influencers led me to this place.. I was in the area so I decided to try it finally. I love that they have lunch specials. The wings are fire! They’re so good I’m hungry just thinking about them now. In my opinion they’re up there with Harold’s. The sauce isn’t as good but it’s still good. It’s more on the bbq side than the mild sauce side. There’s no dine in or parking lot. Unless I missed a sign that said there’s a lot. But I didn’t see one. Other than that they have a good location. They’ll get plenty of uic students and hospital employees. Good for them. I just wish the wing special came with more than 3 wings. That’s not enough for my big back and others.

Not sure where these reviews coming from, I went across the city thinking this was great bbq!! Food had no taste, BBQ sauce was bland, meat was tough service was okay no smiles or nothing to make you feel appreciated although the service was fast. Would not recommend and would not be back.

First & foremost the Little Italy location is bustling, the establishment is very clean, the prices & portions are more than reasonable & the taste, care in preparation, sauce & tenderness of the meats…ideal! Do yourself a favor & order the “Tip/Link combo” w/sauce on. What more can I say, A definite recommend!

Food: hot link, mild but really good. Rib tips, I’m sorry, not tender and juicy or even cut nice. Sauce was decent, I was pleasantly surprised. Barely any fries. Like, I could count them. Lol Service: girl that took my order could care less about me or her job however, the lady in the back that came out to take an order to someone was super nice and made up for the less interested cashier. Overall, probably won’t return. I’m being nice with the 4 stars simply because of the nice lady from the back.

A real Chicago staple! The wings, the fish, the sauce!!! And not to mention it’s Black owned. The service is amazing and it feels like you’re walking into your family’s house. Great comfort food. My favorite is the fried catfish! Friend to perfection.

Today I ordered 6 wings with mild sauce and placed in the comments to fry the wings hard. I also ordered a small rib tip with mild sauce and had it delivered by Grubhub. Getting straight to the point the wings were very salty and the mild sauce is very sweet. They only give you a small amount of fries so for those that like fries you might want to consider ordering extra fries. As for the small order of tips, it’s more like a snack size. The flavor is cool, the bbq sauce is good, the little bit of ribs they give you are tender. The food is similar to Uncle Remus and would taste better if they cut down on the salt and use more herbs for seasoning.

Save your money this place is disgusting. I ordered two tips wings and fish. It was horrible fries were cold and hard the fish extremely over cook. Like it was cook once and re cooked. The fish was hard like cardboard. The tips had no flavor the sauce lacks much no tang just bland. I would never go back again. They should return my money. Sucks.most horrible bbq place I’ve ever eaten at.

The food was delicious, I had the rib tips, link, fries and greens and I enjoyed it. Generous portions and everything was cooked to perfection. I will definitely eat here again!!!
