We came up to Hickory to meet our son who is a student at App State. We had lunch & found Emerson’s Coffee. A sweet young lady took our order & she told me this location has been here for decades. I think that’s fantastic! The boys got their coffee & I shared the large with my husband. It was very good coffee. I have a thing against bitter coffee, Starbucks tends to be a bit too much for me. Emerson’s Coffee was perfect!

Absolutely phenomenal. More coffee options in this one shop than in the entire combined franchises of a certain Seattle based “coffee” chain. More sugar free flavors than I’ve seen anywhere. Excellent and friendly staff that can help you create any coffee creation you want. Also a wide variety of coffee than you can get while bean, or ground, by the pound.

This is my favorite coffee shop, but tonight the little girl working there really got on my nerves. I should have asked her name. She was too busy flirting with some guy than to get my order right. The worst customer service ive ever received and I go to Emersons weekly. When I told her it was wrong she was snotty with a smile. Do better.

Just walked out because after standing there while 2 or 3 of them decided it was more important to chit chat with the only other customer in the store (who btw also didn’t seem to care I was waiting). All I wanted was a bag of coffee beans. Very disappointing since that was the only reason I came to the mall.

As Myself and my sister walk into the small but cozy coffee shop, we noticed first that the employee was working very hard and treated everyone amazingly. We then ordered and I got the slammer in butter pecan and it was not just perfectly mixed with 3 shots of hair tingling, face numbing awesomeness and butter goodness pecan. My sister got the white chocolate pistachio frappe and she loved it. Also as a side note there christmas tree cookies are so very soft, it was like bitting into nothing but also like bitting into flavorful deliciousness at the same dang time. So if you get a chance to stop by and want something in this genre of drinks, stop by and I think you will love it as much as myself and my sister did.

We order a single shot plain latte. It was not good at all. It is worse than a decaf latte coffee we make at home. In my opinion, this place should not have been rated 4.8. There must be a coffee shop better out there than this one.
