I’ve been to Lilla Vanilla many times over the years so this review was a long time coming!
Raspberry flavored items from LV are god tier. I literally go in and ask what they have left that’s raspberry flavored – never fails. If that’s your favorite flavor like mine, Raspberry Croissant, Raspberry Cruffin, and mostly recently the Raspberry Crunchy (picture included) are just the best. The Berry Flavored Croissant Roll is also great (the croissant roles are pretty cool and you can order online for pickup for those – they are really big by the way!)
I have brought the GF Cupcakes for a birthday party in the past (birthday girl was GF) and she said they were great – she said they tasted like a traditional cupcake! I can’t remember what those fancy glassy looking cakes are called, but I bought one in the past for a holiday party (it was a beautiful pumpkin.) It was filled with chocolate mouse (or a very delicate and whipped type of cake in any case) it was a big hit at the thanksgiving party – people thought it was a table decoration LOL. Lastly, big fan of the Dubai chocolate bar – very fresh tasting ingredients! Follow the bakery on insta b/c they will sometimes announce available flavors/deadlines/new stuff.

My sister and I tried the viral crunchies on 3 separate occasions. They were okay, some better than others. I think they’re a tad overpriced for a ball of mousse. I wish they all had cake in them with the mousse. I also tried a cupcake and it was dry.
The customer service was pleasant and quick even with a line. The place was clean and bright and definitely inviting.
Overall, it was worth a try but just not my favorite.

I recently made the trip to Lilla Vanilla to try the viral “Crunchies” for my daughter and her friends. We were excited because we’ve seen the hype online and really wanted to support a woman-owned local business. The crunchies themselves are definitely unique and fun to try. Some flavors we loved (the raspberry was our favorite!), and others just weren’t our taste – but that’s really a personal preference thing. They’re definitely something you try for the experience!
I hate to say anything negative, but I’m going to give an honest review. The only thing that took away from the visit was the service. There were only two people ahead of me getting just a few items (one just got a single cupcake,) but I ended up waiting about 20 minutes before I even got to the counter. It wasn’t busy, but the pace of the employees (and there were several in there) was very slow. Also, the person at the counter (not the owner or her daughter) was pretty short and didn’t come across as very friendly. I asked one question and felt like I was bothering her, even when I was placing my order she seemed annoyed. I promise you, I was very kind and friendly while ordering… smiled and said hello when I got to the counter and she was just irritated.
That said, the bakery itself is very cute, and I love supporting a small woman-owned business. The kids enjoyed doing the taste test together even if we probably won’t buy the crunchies again. I definitely recommend trying them at least once, especially if you’ve been curious or are looking for a fun little dessert experience!

Great sweets and bakery shop. I can handle only one pastry at a time but there is so much to choose from. The blueberry lemon cake is delicious and sweet.

We showed up, they prefer the line to go to the right of the display case away from the door. The younger daughter of the owner is a little bit more straightforward with her interactions. However, the owner and the male attendant were very nice and helping us out. We got one of everything total game to a little over $150. The food was very good and I would go back there.

Stopped in to get some Macarons and the didnt disappoint. Also grabbed a got chocolate croissant and two of their viral crunchies. Everything the make is amazing. You really need to stop in and try them.

Very delicious and real fruit flavors like with the mango, raspberry and chocolate cherry crunchies. Good treat size. My favorite was the chocolate hazelnut supreme croissant roll. The hazelnut creme is delicious and tastes just like Nutella. The savory treats are really good too. Tried the spinach and feta puff pastry and also recommend.

I have been wanting to try the viral crushes for months and living in New Jersey there’s not too many specialty bakeries that make them so I did some research and I stumbled upon this Bakery so I went there a few days before Christmas and I grabbed four of the viral crunchies and they were absolutely amazing!!
They change their flavors on a pretty weekly basis some of them stay the same but at the time we had a blood orange, chocolate peppermint, a jumbo Ferrero Rocher, and double raspberry.
I cannot wait to go back and try a few more ❤️

We have been wanting to try these for a while so we decided Valentine’s Day that would be our gift to each other they were good the moose was very good chocolate was very good most of them taste the same except for the center we’ve got a cherry one which was 12.95 I believe chocolate covered strawberry the green machine which was Dubai chocolate and then we got the coconut pineapple we got a slice of the Swiss cake roll which my husband loved and we have gotten the big croissant with the cannoli cream which was very good what’s approximately $60 is it something I would rush back to no not for that price the first picture is the chocolate covered strawberry the second is the cherry and as you see they’re the same don’t get me wrong it was good but not something I would rush back to

Our daughter’s birthday cake was beautiful and delicious. We loved her crunchy desserts and her stuffed croissants are indescribable!!! She has a knack for not over sweetening her desserts and it is such a lovely change from other bakeries.
