I ordered shrimp fried rice and crab ragoons on a takeout order. The rice was ok, the ragoons were oily on the bottom so I couldn’t really enjoy them. The indoor dining room is nice, clean, and cozy. The price was reasonable.

We have been here twice now. Both times the food has been very good. The only thing that I feel could use a change is the sauce with the wontons, I like a thicker sauce. We did take out, ordered when we got there and the food was cooked fresh and it didn’t take a long time. My daughter went in and the first thing she said when she came back to the car was how nice the lady was.

I loved this place; I came here pretty often during high school and a bit into college. However, I just found out they’re retiring and closing the restaurant down. It’s pretty sad, the owners were very friendly and welcoming, she used to ask me about college all of the time while I waited for my meal. It’s unfortunate, but I’m glad they’re comfortable enough to retire.

Went in to order carry out and ordered pork with mixed vegetables but no mushrooms, I told her twice NO mushrooms. Also ordered chicken with vegetables. Took it home and the first thing we saw on the top of the pork? Mushrooms. My boyfriend can’t eat mushrooms. I would have given him my chicken, but it was loaded with mushrooms too. My boyfriend wouldn’t even touch the fried rice because he was spooked then. I don’t live nearby or I would have made the trip back. I tried to call them but got a busy signal repeatedly. Not a good place to go, dietary restrictions are ignored. I ate my chicken but we wasted our money on a meal and fried rice that couldn’t be eaten.

I will never order from Fortune Express again. I spent almost $40 on food that was absolutely disgusting. The “fried rice” wasn’t even close — it was half-cooked, bland, and clearly not fried rice at all. Everything tasted old and poorly prepared.
To make things worse, the service was horrible — rude attitude, no apology, and no effort to fix the problem. It’s sad because I was really looking forward to a good meal, but this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Mt. Healthy.
Save your money and go anywhere else — you’ll thank yourself later!

A thousand times better than any other Chinese restaurant in the area. While the portions are a little smaller than what you would get at China Wok or Fantastic Wok, the ingredients are clearly fresher and of better quality. Their food is made with love.

I loved this place. I am thoroughly impressed.
Great portion sizes for the lunch special, great price, and most importantly, exceptional flavor!
I’ve been to P F Chang’s twice, and tried multiple dishes, and I have to say, this place was every bit as good or better. And it’s a real dine-in restaurant; good seating, real plates (not styrofoam boxes), real silverware, and they bring you what you need. Definitely my favorite takeout style Chinese place.
I tried the cashew chicken and the zechuan beef (definitely spicy, it’ll light you up. But it’s tremendous).

I brought my family for a birthday gathering. We did call ahead of time to let them know how many people we would have. The atmosphere is great. The hostess is very pleasant. Every dish tastes great. There is parking on the side and on the street. It is one level, so wheelchairs could enter. I recommend this restaurant for everyone.

Been coming here for years! This humble restaurant has really wonderful, consistently delicious Chinese/Cantonese food, good service…always. Check out their menu: shrimp, scallops, pork, chicken, beef, chicken… in lunches or dinners, depending on time of day. Egg rolls are delicious! Would advise to check their hours before going. Children love watching the fish in their aquarium tank.
