When I first entered Lia’s, it looked like an average pizza joint. The booths were hard, and the dining area was a bit small.
Our waitress was very friendly and nice; down to earth and pleasant.
The wait time was about average for what we ordered, and the serving sizes were decent. The prices were slightly higher than other similar restaurants, but not horribly so.
Initially, I enjoyed the food but then, inevitably, I needed to use the restroom. This is when things took a turn. The women’s restroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages! There were dried “something” on the walls that looked as though someone had spilled something, and it was never cleaned up. Even the sink was dirty.
As I made my way back to my table, I started looking around and noticed how dirty the counters were and the ovens. The floors were dirty. The windows were dirty. I think the only surfaces that appeared to be somewhat clean were the booths.
After seeing everything that I saw, and unfortunately couldn’t unsee, I left in a hurry and tossed my remaining food. I couldn’t trust the food with all of the unsanitary conditions I had noticed.
Perhaps I just went in on a bad day, but I can definitely say the dried-up dirt and marks in the restroom were not fresh and had been there for quite some time.
I personally cannot recommend eating here, despite the food being good, simply because of the unsanitary conditions.

I had the cheese steak while in the area for a clean up event. And the cheese steak was delicious! The bread looked homemade and everything tasted great. We came in as a large group and swamped the place. But they did there best to keep up with us. Definitely would come back for more food

i wish someone would please tell me why my 12$ pizza and 9$ fish cost me 28.39! 35% tax!!!! the pizza was cold and did not taste the same as before..and walking out i get this strange look from one of the workers…as if something was up…well now i know…and unless someone explains this to me and prove the 35% tax I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!

I ordered a small stromboli. It was small alright. There’s next to nothing in it! I called to ask for it remade or something and I was told “i dont know what to tell her, thats a small stromboli. I order there regularly and I won’t be anymore. I’ll drive out of town if Joey’s isn’t open. What a joke! I wish I could post a picture of how pathetic this is.
