It was busy when I arrived but staff acknowledged me and said hello
Yesterday, I politely asked for extra ice. The barista making my drink was happy to help, but Rocky suddenly came over, snatched the cup from her coworker, stared at me, and spoke to me in a rude and aggressive tone. She kept questioning me about wanting more ice, as if it was a problem, which made me very uncomfortable.
English is not my first language, but I spoke clearly and politely. Rocky’s attitude made me feel disrespected and singled out, and her behavior felt racist and unprofessional. There was no reason for this treatment over a simple request.
This is not the first negative experience I’ve had with her. I love this Starbucks, but experiences like this make me hesitant to return. Management should address this behavior immediately.
