I got the Philly cheesstwak and I was ecstatic that they actually use cheese whiz, that made my day, my friend order the pb&j burger and she loved hers too.thw fries were homemade and absolutely delicious. The homemade ranch was TOO GOOD! The waitress was so nice and the chef knows what he’s doing. We visited from Phoenix and we will definitely be back.

First time experience and I come from assortment experiences from Phoenix and Scottsdale like Durants, Ocean 44 and Mastros. It took about 15-20 mins to bring out the food and it was not busy at all. Not a big complaint it just shows the lack of pep. The reason for my review and desire to return is the PRICE. My burger cost $35. I checked online and it would have only cost $22. The side and mozzarella appetizer was added on the side as well. One beer and water. Total came to $60. My burger wasn’t cooked to my desire temp, there was 0 seasoning on the burger and they missed a red topping. Also with larger burgers any professional knows to slice the middle so the burger doesn’t fall apart on you after the 2nd bite.
All in all although the food was very tasty.

Beautiful indoor and patio seating. AJ, the manager, provided outstanding service. The pulled pork sandwich was outstanding, one of the best I’ve EVER had. Tender tasty meat and a nice sauce.

This is not a fast food restaurant. It is a dining experience that get you off the road and into a laid back, relaxed environment to enjoy a meal and able to chat quietly. My wife had Crispy Chicken on a gluten free bun. I had the new offering of a double cheese burger as well as beer batter fries. Both meals were absolutely deliciously prepared and hot off the grill. If a person doesn’t like garnishes or sauces, they can simply order them on the side. Our server greeted us at the door and directed us to available seating. She seemed happy to be employed and that was reflected in how she brought our order with a brief chat. This restaurant is clean and indeed named appropriately – Dad’s Back Yard Grill, and if I could deck out my back yard like that, I would be a happy camper. For those who don’t know, it called a THEME.
I found that the food was not expensive at all, and I would invite anyone to find a better deal elsewhere – NOT. I paid less than I expected and got more food than I expected. No National Brand mystery meat here.
Good job, Dad’s Backyard Grill. You are our new go to from now on

Got the food and water pretty quickly after sitting down. The service was excellent—Kaylie was attentive and noticed when I needed more water without me having to ask, which I really appreciated. Kelcie was also super helpful and made sure I got a side salad with my meal. I really appreciated her quick and friendly service.

I ordered the Wagyu burger with fries and a side salad. The burger was juicy, the fries were crispy, and the salad was fresh with plenty of dressing on the side.

One unique touch I loved was the laminated menu and dry erase marker setup—very creative and efficient. The interior really commits to the backyard theme, with fake grass and picnic-style tables, which creates a fun and relaxed vibe. The bathroom was also spotless, which is always a good sign.

The only minor inconvenience was the paper towels on the table. Since they weren’t in a dispenser, I had to manually tear off a clean section while my hands were a bit greasy—nothing major, but worth mentioning.

Overall, great food, fantastic service, and a memorable atmosphere. I’d definitely come back again.

Wonderful first time experience! Easily some of the best burgers in Prescott valley. Very unique atmosphere, total backyard vibes. The birria burger was a hot one and very good. Also had the green chili burger which is my favorite so far. The service was prompt and friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

Great food!
We were really impressed with the food. My husband and I both got burgers and they were cooked perfectly.
Their prices are also very reasonable.

I especially liked that they had clearly marked dietary guides on the menu.
I was able to order my burger with a gluten free bun and tater tots.

It’s also a very kid friendly establishment, lots of toys for kids to play with.

Beers and seltzers available for the adults.
Can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely delicious food. Waitress brought the wrong size burger but got the situation remedied and admitted fault and took care of us and then some. Excellent service. Excellent atmosphere. Great for kids. PB&J burger is out standing. Oreo malt was the perfect way to end a delicious meal.

Had a great lunch at Dad’s with Hubby. Was really surprised at the menu selections. Loved the look of the place. It made you feel like you were really in your backyard. Food was cooked the way we asked for and it very tasty.
