Very nice building. We came on a Sunday early afternoon and were the only people there. It seems to be more of a night time/game time place. The food we ordered all had spice to it which makes you drink more. That’s a good thing when pairing with craft cocktails however it was too early for us to partake..I drink water and always ask for extra lemons “ON THE SIDE” nope got them tossed in my water. We had to stop eating because we had no water to quench the spice from the food, and the server was MIA…I find it odd that our stew and chili came out and our server telling us she couldn’t find spoons?? We were the only ones there “BUY SOME SPOONS” The Cubanos were very good.

My friend and I stayed at the first floor bar during our visit, but we had a pleasant time. It sounded like the floors above us were more lively, but we were happy with the calmer atmosphere on the first floor. The bartender was friendly and made our drinks quickly. I had the Tennessee Grind, and my friend had the whiskey sour. We both agreed the drinks were well made and delicious, and my drink was fun to watch as the top layer slowly mixed with the bottom. I’ll definitely have to stop by again to see the patio they have, and to try their food; the deviled eggs looked wonderful.

Been here 3 times. First two times were 2025 spring/summer and it was fantastic. Brisket pops and cornbread were great. The third time winter 2026 however the food has drastically changed. The BBQ seemed like it was just re heated Gordon’s or Sisco pre packaged.

The drinks were good, the atmosphere was great, but the food was honestly a bust. If it’s gonna make it they need to improve their menu and make sure the food had flavor not just heat. Nashville food has a lot of different amazing foods and just the right amount of heat.

Have you ever had a taste of the food in front of you, and felt like you now knew something about the head chef? That was our experience here.
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary on a Friday evening. The parking lot was full, but we easily found free on-street parking a block away. We actually did not have too long of a wait for a rooftop table. After a very brief wait at the “fire pit”, by the time I had got my drinks from the bartender, our table was ready.
Appetizers were the Cornbread, and the Brisket Pops. On trying them both, I knew in that moment, that the head chef loved his job, took it seriously, and wanted people to be happy.
Afterwards, we split a Reuben, later split a goat cheese cheesecake dessert, and uncharacteristically, had no food left to take home, it was so good we ate it all. (it was a relaxed atmosphere, and we took our time)
Craft drinks were thoughtful and flavorful; service was good; we plan to come back sometime when the live music on the 2nd floor is Blues.

It’s a nice place but the service is bad. Waited 5 minutes for the bartender to notice I was sitting there on a slow Saturday afternoon. After finally taking my order for a beer, she walked away and served 3 other tables as I sat there waiting for my beer.

The food was decent but was overpriced for the quality. $7.50 for a shredded brisket slider that should have been $4 at most.

A little thrown off by this place –
Got the chicken dumpling soup with a giant fly in it. So grossed out that i ended up barfing it. I think they owe us a drink or something based on that fiasco but they just took the 6$soup off which was interesting. We were still friendly and understanding, even though it led to me, throwing up and thinking about maggots and the soup…. Not only did I get stuck eating half the soup and then throwing it back out, lost my appetite for the day. They acted like they were doing us a favor by taking the 6$ soup of the bill which was ridiculous. Waitress was friendly, not her fault but thrown off by the way the situation was handled..

This review is based off my second visit to RRS – the first visit was back in Oct when they had just opened and we had a terrible experience (they served two kids raw chicken tenders and a whole slew of other issues). We wanted to give them another try since they have had 6 months to work out kinks. This visit, we were impressed and would definitely return. We came in at 11:30 on a Saturday AM. Only the downstairs was open at that time. We had 13 of us and they were happy to accomodate us all and put some tables together. Sam was our server and he did a great job. I was a little unimpressed that they only have two beers on tap on the first floor. Upstairs has all their other beer. They do have a decent cocktail list with some of them being on tap, as well. No NA beers. We had a bunch of apps and they were all awesome. Came out fast and everything tasted delish. The grilled cornbread was sinful! I had the cesar salad last time so I opted for the grilled peach and burrata salad this time and OMG so good! I literally cleaned my plate. One of our meals was either not rung in or was forgot, but they got it out quickly once we asked about it. It didn’t get super busy, so it was a nice spot to chill on a Saturday early afternoon. I really look forward to being able to hand out on one of the decks when the weather gets warmer! Also, huge kudos for removing the pay to park in the parking lot!

Wow never again .. four of us came in for dinner and drinks was greeted and went to the third floor. There was no hostess at the stand. This was our first time so we walked out onto the rooftop and went to take a empty table across the bar, and the hostess insisted that we walk all the way back across down the stairs and then into the other room where the host is Stan was before we could sit down at a table, which I found odd then we were seated at the same table, we were planning on sitting at and our server showed up and immediately informed us if we wanted water that there was a self service station at the bar. I immediately ordered four glasses of tequila and before I could get the order out of my mouth the bartender said oh no, you don’t wanna drink our tequila. I said why not she said because it’s horrible so we ordered lemon drops after serving myself and the rest of the table with water from the self service station we drink our shots and immediately exited the vicinity. Applebee vibes. I have no doubt in my mind that this business will be closing soon
