This was one of the worst sandwiches I have had. I had heard good things about the place, went there and got the prosciutto and arugula. There was not one bite of the prosciutto that didn’t have a hunk of fat in it. I am not talking a vein of fat like most prosciutto has, but a legitimate chunk. Multiple times, same sandwich. I spent $19 for a sandwich I just had to throw out as I almost choked trying to get this down. Super disappointing.

$18 for a sub?! And with tax it’s $20! For that much it better be the best sub in the world and it really isn’t. I got chicken parm “Coppola” and it was… Passable? Not the worst ever, but not good. I should’ve read the reviews.

$17 for this…tastes awful too. Avoid I will be getting my money back. Attached is the price for the bread, sun-dried tomatoes and a slice of meet.

I love a well-crafted sandwich, and my first experience at a Pronto sandwich shop was exemplary! I ordered the Tarantino for the turkey, avocado and garlic aioli flavors, and the combo did not disappoint. Always love pickled red onions, too.

The counter was busy, and the staff disorganized as they had problems coping with a particularly tricky customized order. Out of sequence order delivery started to fray nerves of waiting customers, but the crew battled through and made it happen.

I’d go there again!

Terrible. Don’t waste your money on these soggy slops of a sandwich.

Man I used to love pronto sandwiches, it was a “must” stop for me every time I stepped foot in Chicago, then all of the sudden I notices the sandwiches kept getting smaller and smaller, Today a got a Brando and could barely see the meat.! “Where is the meat”?
Disappointed, back to McDonalds.

This was terrible. The place looked super fresh so I decided to try. When I ordered the #1 and the lady grabbed a premade sub I should have asked for my money back. I was hoping for fresh cut. One major issue is no one spoke much English and the lady who prepared my sub spoke none. They had this person make my sub who clearly has never made a sub there before. All her co-workers were yelling at her as she cut my sub. She put way to much sauce on it too. She had no idea what she was doing. I threw 90% of this sub out.

Impressed with the freshness of my turkey and cheese sandwich. Just a small shop within ohare, but fast and fresh. Much better than the other nearby greasy choices. Give it a try. They even had healthy drink choices, including water and kettle chips. Only seating options across from shop in ohare.

I was nervous given the average reviews but the pickings in O’Hare Terminal 1 are SLIM (outside of Frontera which had a huge line). Reader, I LOVED the Brando. Came out fast, had a ton of flavor from a collection of meats and a crunchy, perfectly acidic giardiniera, and balanced a nice mix of textures with a fresh tomato and bread with both crunch and chew. If you like sandwiches, aren’t a vegetarian, and don’t mind spending $20 for a (very big) sandwich – check it out!

It’s always a struggle to find a decent meal at O’Hare, much more so than most airports. I stumbled upon Pronto, an Italian deli, towards the end of terminal 1 and was quite satisfied. The sandwiches aren’t cheap (what in the airport is), ranging from $17-20, but were quite tasty. The bread is fresh, they cut the deli meat in front of you, the toppings / sauces add nice touches and the portion is reasonable. Definitely check this place out if you need a quick bite.
