I asked for a Parrillada for 2, including fries and salad. $63 . Meat was mediocre, taste was also mediocre, so my rating for this place is 1 star, they should not call themselves Argentinian restaurant, this is more on the lines of a food truck. Too expensive for the poor quality of food. I do not recommend this place at all.

So today I was craving an empanada and finally made it to the little corner of Steel Craft here in Bellflower and decided to give them a taste and write about my experience as always to help give back to where I’m visiting on my page. While looking at menu the young lady offered me a sample to try out which was good…so Yes let’s do this!

Well I ordered their all meat empanada and also a spicer meat filling empanada that was suggested for me to try since it’s very popular here the young lady at the register helped me with that choice. Paired with my grandfathers favorite drink “Sangria”. I placed my order and was given a buzzard to have while order was being made.

Took a few picture notice a few orders that were being picked up and also phone in orders…good sign

When I was buzzed for my order I was ready but before I left I still needed my drink …she was forgetting to give to me and also I noticed I didn’t have any chimichurri …For those who know you need this savory sauce to compliment a traditional Argentinian stable… but to some it may be spicy for others it’s an outstanding burst of garlic olive oil and fresh herbs and chili that bring out and Empanada to its next level…like a party in your mouth!

To my surprise the Empanadas were deep fried not baked and recalling someone mentioned if you wanted them baked call your order ahead of time for that…

Both of the empanadas were very tasty. To be honest a bit salty but it could have been the chimichurri I added, overall very delicious. I did enjoy the flavor of the spicy meat Empanada that was definitely my favorite.

So if you’re looking for something Argentinian to enjoy while visiting Beautiful Bellflower please come on over to “Steel Craft “ where you’ll find Un Rinconcito Argentino they have many different types of Empanadas and other menu options to try along with desserts.

Empanada’s are really tasty and the size is great. I ordered Argentinian Beef, beef and potato and spinach & cheese. Chimichurri was really good too. Good place if you wanted to just spend $20 for a quick bite for two.

The empanadas were very good and crispy! The person was super nice and had us try some of their samples. It was delicious enough to entice us to get some.

The food came at a reasonable time and the meat and filling was very good. The empanadas was packed with meat and juices, the empanada was very flaky. This is a nice shop to eat at while you hangout at steel craft for a game or some beer or boba n coffee.

The empanadas were pretty good, they are fried and not baked, done well so they aren’t very oily.

What I don’t like is that they don’t include chimichurri with their empanadas. That’s like not serving marinara with your cheese sticks, ranch/blue cheese with wings, soy sauce for sashimi, tarter sauce for fried seafood, salsa for tacos, etc.

I get that costs are up and chimichurri can be expensive to make so either add it to the price of your product OR ask the customer if they’d like to purchase some!!!! But then why did you just give some to the lady that picked her order up right before I ordered?!? Also why are you giving me a busted empanada as part of my dozen?

You guys are supposed to be a mom & pop shop that takes the extra steps to take care of the customers and make it worth supporting and paying a little extra. Shame on you for your bad service and shame on me for not checking my order before I left.

One of the very best empanadas I’ve tasted outside Argentina. Seriously. They have the right amount of spice, they taste super fresh, and best of all, they are fried to order. I’m not a fan of precooked, baked empanadas, so this place stands out big time, reminding me of the open air markets in the Buenos Aires suburbs and all those amazing flavors of my childhood. Ahhh, my heart, you “Rincocito” brought me back in time . Highly recommend to anybody who’s never had Argentinian empanadas before. You’re in for a treat! Plus the staff and owner are really friendly!
