This was probably my favorite meal of our week on St. Thomas. The staff was friendly, food came out quick and everything was delicious! I had a Latin Espresso Martini and enjoyed it. We split tuna bites, the grouper Reuben and wahoo tacos – all three were tasty. This place seems to be a favorite of the locals as well. We’d definitely go back and would highly recommend it!

We enjoyed eating here and plan on going back to try other dishes. This restaurant was very easy to get to from Red Hook via taxi. The service was great and there were many options on both the brunch and main menu. Brunch goes through 2pm only. The food was tasty and cooked well. I had the French Toast and my fiancé ordered the Barbacoa Scramble. Drink were two for one and the bloody Mary’s were good. This is an outdoor venue with a small bar and dine-in area. You are surrounded by plants here and it may be a little noisy since you are on the main road but it’s perfectly enjoyable!

Honestly one of the best vibes on the island. The food is good, the prices really fair – especially in comparison to most other dining, a the staff nice. Located on the east side of St. Thomas, it’s one of our favorite places to stop when we’re out that way. Grouper Reuben is solid, wings are good, and tuna bites are perfect. And beer is always cold. Nice small bar filled with locals and tourists. And best brunch/breakfast on the island.

It’s slightly irrational how much I love Carigas, but the entire staff is beyond awesome. Every plate I’ve ordered has been memorably delicious. They have a regular menu but do yourself a favor and order off the daily specials board. Those are innovative and hugely portioned – hubs and I usually share a plate. This lovely cafe feels cozy and inviting even though it’s right on the main road. Perfect for a date.

What a hidden gem! I’m not going to lie—I almost turned around when I saw its location but I’m so glad I didn’t. I was welcomed immediately by a friendly, warm waitress. I started off with coffee which was pretty good. For my entree, I had one of their specials—-the crispy chicken and pancake with gravy and bacon. What an interesting combo! It was a nice balance of sweet and savory. The pancake was nice and fluffy, paired perfectly with the maple syrup. Then under one pancake was a crispy, juicy crispy chicken smothered with gravy and bacon. I don’t think I’ve had anything like this before but I was a huge fan. The prices were also quite reasonable, overall very good value. My total was only $26! The place itself is on the smaller side and a bit quirky, though quite cozy. I would recommend making a stop here! Don’t let the aesthetics of its surroundings stop you. Also there’s plenty of parking across the street though it’s a bit bumpy as it’s not a paved lot.

Came in at the end of breakfast and the breakfast plates looked absolutely incredible. Wish we’d come earlier! This review is solely based on our lunch.
Unfortunately the lunch tacos and burrito we tried were a miss for us. My chicken taco had almost no onions or cilantro. It was basically just chicken and sauce. The “steak” taco was roast beef with a flavor I didn’t like; I couldn’t eat it. I wish the server would have said it wasn’t steak as you would expect with most tacos. My husband’s burrito was mostly rice. He said it was just okay.
Service was friendly, and the place itself is cute and cozy even though it’s right on a busy street. It looks like this place is worth trying for breakfast.

Quaint eatery that my husband and I didn’t have plans to stop at but are so glad we did! Very friendly and attentive staff, great conversation with other patrons and yummy food. My husband had the delicious grouper taco (a special menu item) and I had a veggie omelette and an order of French toast that had some slices of apples. Delicious. We will definitely be making our way back!

Our server Daria was the kindest server we’ve ever experienced. She gave us local tips, shared in wonderful conversations with us. Our food was delicious and the fans kept us cool while we ate and sipped our coffee and mimosas. We parked across the street at the food mart, and crossed the road. We really enjoyed our visit and I hope we can try to go back while here a few days more.
Recommend.

was so nice and service with a big smile! HUGE portion of grouper on my tacos! Had to take a bite before photo, sorry, ha. Could have easily made 4 with that amount of fish. Cool chill place. Great drinks! Reasonably priced. Easy parking across the street. Locally owned. Glad to support a local, small businesses!
