I liked it back in the day with the different staff. Nowadays they have a guy finishing the order (not the cook) who literally speaks all over the food while giving orders to the cook. Today he stuck his head in over the food while talking to the cook. I asked him nicely if he could wear a mask while doing that. He was combative stating that my food was coming up saying this was not my food and he’d give me a refund if I had a problem. I told him I wasn’t trying to be mean but when people talk it’s natural to spit at times when they talk. I asked him to just wear a mask. He stepped away talking about me to the cook. I ended up getting the worst pieces of chicken dry and old looking. I won’t be going there anymore. If you go, watch out for this guy at the chicken window. Don’t let him talk over your food. He got mad at me for saying something and gave me old chicken.

Los Angeles natives know that all Louisiana Fried Chicken spots are not the same. True O.G.s know what I’m talking about and also know exactly where in L.A. to go to get it right. So let me go on record to say that this Carson location is absolutely the best Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken south of the 105 fwy. They stay busy, so the chicken is always hot, fresh, and delicious. In fact, at least one piece of my order never even makes it out of the parking lot. Their Dirty Rice is seasoned to perfection, with just enough spice to bite you back. So save yourself a trip to L.A. This is the right spot.

Chicken was undercooked, pink spots inside and under coating. Also while using my debit card David (employee)turned the card reader, accepting additional terms I did not review, to process my payment. I will never spend my money at this location. After calling my order he, David, goes back and forth with me about turning over the order number slip, and refused to give me my food. He was completely unprofessional, and I refuse to spend my money here. I escalated my concerns to the department of public health, as well as consumer affairs. Do Not Eat Here

These people are incredibly rude, and I refuse to spend my money here. I urge people not to support this place—they treat us with complete disrespect. All I did was point out that we didn’t receive the rice in our red beans and rice order, and the employee raised his voice, saying, “You all are always complaining but keep coming back.” I simply wanted to make sure my order was correct and had the rice that came with it. They need to be removed from the Carson area.

This was one of my favorite Louisiana spots but as of today they will no long get my business, i placed an order through DoorDash and when my dasher arrived the workers told them that another dasher picked up my order. For one 2 dashers cannot pick up the same order so with that being said your workers are just handing over peoples orders to anyone saying they are DoorDash without double checking. They refused to remake the order and when i called they just let the phone ring. I would give 0 stars if i could.

I don’t eat here. I was picking up food for someone else. People seem to really like it. There is usually a line. I’m biased because I remember the Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken from back in the day, the late Seventies over on Century Blvd. It was hands down the best Chicken I ever tasted. Something changed years back and it just isn’t the same. It’s like they watered down the batter, its less flavorful. You used to be able to see the herbs and spices in the batter, not anymore. It was so good then, but it’s just okay now.
