I come here often and it’s always a good experience. They make pizzas very differently throughout the week. My favorite combination is when the guy with the fitted hat makes the pizza and the guy at the counter with air pods takes the pizza out. It’s the timing that makes the pizza taste great. When you make it a certain way and you get that combination of taking it out at the perfect time to make it crispy! Been coming here for about 12 years +. I miss the owner that guy was the best ever he used to give where i worked free pizzas.

A Former Icon That Has Declined Severely & Now Raises Serious Hygiene Concerns
Linwood Pizza in Fort Lee was once an iconic neighborhood staple, even recognized and recommended on Food Network television years ago. Sadly, the quality and standards have declined dramatically over the past decade, especially after the pandemic. What used to be a must visit pizza spot now feels like it’s holding on by a thread, and the experience no longer resembles the reputation it once earned.
Beyond the decline in taste and quality, what concerns me most and what prompted this review are the serious hygiene issues I personally witnessed on more than one visit.
Specifically…
A staff member was seen through the glass as I parked picking his nose, not washing his hands, and immediately returning to handle food.
On a separate occasion, an employee handled cash from customers, then went directly to preparing pizza without washing hands or wearing gloves. Food handlers touching the register, money, face, or hair and then touching food without sanitizing is a direct violation of basic food safety standards.
This is not only unprofessional it is unsanitary and unsafe.
Considering today’s awareness of hygiene and restaurant food safety, seeing this level of disregard is extremely disappointing. Gloves and proper handwashing are basic requirements in any establishment serving food to the public, especially one that used to be held in such high regard.
Linwood Pizza was once a beloved classic, but based on what I’ve seen recently, I can no longer recommend it. Until hygiene, food safety, and quality control are taken seriously again, this place has lost the trust it worked so hard to build in the community.
Here’s my response to such a concerned owner……This is not a fake review or a fake account. My rating is based on what I personally witnessed and recorded on video. You’re lucky I didn’t catch you guys the first time picking your nose but this time I was able to catch you eating over the food.
In the footage, one employee is eating directly over the pizzas that customers are supposed to buy, while also handling food and doing other tasks without washing his hands. His coworker is seen grabbing sauce with no gloves on, and neither of them followed basic food-safety standards.
This isn’t about being difficult, all we asked for was basic cleanliness and respect for the food you’re serving people. What we saw was the opposite. If this is considered acceptable in your kitchen, then customers deserve to know the truth.

Very friendly, clean, large menu options, but unfortunately for such a large food selections, they don’t do cheese burgers…. at alll, which is odd for a pizza parlor offering other types of meats like, gyro, meatballs, sausage, chicken, e.t.c … great pasta options, salads, hot and cold subs and delicious pizza, very cheesy pizza, but no cheese burgers lol go figure…..
