We were at Celis Brewery today and decided to give BackDraft Pizzeria a try – recommend!
The food truck is super cute and it’s right next to Celia’s entrance inside the parking lot. They have a QR Code where you could just scan and order from your table at the brewery.
Today we got the Mushroom to the Moon and it’s the best food truck pizza I’ve ever had!! It’s super delicious and it goes really well with Celis’ raspberry beer.
Can’t wait to come back again!

This is a really great pizza. Pay no attention to the Bee caves address on the box they’re located off metric right next to the 4th tap. It’s a little food truck that’s awesome.
The staff are extremely friendly and polite quick to take your order and it does not long to get this pizza ready. I normally like to try a basic cheese in this case I went with half cheese and half their Italian stallion.
the crust is perfectly thin I would enjoy this as a 14 or 16 inch pizza a little better but it’s also a great personal size. The combination of cheeses blends well into the sauce and the sauce seems like it’s not just tomato base but has a cream in there as well.
The sauce to cheese and topping the crust ratio is outstanding extremely crisp a little chewy as it should be in the crust was done to perfection absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Stopped by this afternoon on a friends recommendation. Pizza was amazing beautifully cooked, with the perfect ratio of crisp crust and soft melted fresh toppings. They’re in a great location surrounded by plenty of brewerys and don’t forget to have a waffle for desert.

Update! Had the backdraft pizza, the sausage was okay and the jalapeños are my classic combo with pepperoni. You can only order online not at the truck. Orders are typically ready within 20-30 minutes but when busy can be longer. The size of the pizza for the price was very fair. Pepperoni is my go to and it was great. Thin and crispy and holds up when you pick up a slice you don’t have to fold it in half like New York style pizza. They offered complimentary packets of Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes my personal go to add ons for pizza. They have pizza rolls and salads. Can be a little inconsistent and forget add ons to pizza which are an up charge.

$$$ The fresh basil smelt heavenly on our car ride home. Opened the box & they looked perfect. Such great flavor, both pizza were great. I almost ordered only one for a family of 4 but I’m so glad I got 2 because they are more like a medium pizza. I was expecting at least a large pizza in size, which they don’t say the size online. Just wish it was a tad bit thicker too so you can enjoy the crust a little more too. Maybe next time we’ll try a different flavor & We will be back to try one of those waffles though!!

Did not get a whole lot for my $47. Pizza toppings were good but there was hardly any cheese. My friend asked for more cheese and got a dusting. Wings were bland. That being said, it may only take slight improvements to give this place 5 stars. Also, if your going to take 40 minutes to prepare food it better be really good.

I ordered food here online yesterday while I was At the bar next-door. However, I never received a text that my order was ready and when I went outside, the lights were on and it was their open hours, but no one was inside the food truck. There were other customers that had the same thing and all of us were waiting for the food that we had ordered ready. You were supposed to receive a text. Text whenever it was.. I tried calling an no one answered it just went straight to voicemail. I tried messaging on their Instagram account since the phone wasn’t working to let them know That I ordered online and had been charged, but there was no one in the food truck, even though it was their business hours and there Website took my order. It’s now over a day later I still have not been able to get a hold of anyone at backdraft pizzeria however I was charged for the pizza and my order which I never received. I am now still trying to figure out what even happened. There were other customers there that had the same problem as me, and none of us could get a hold of any of the employees or manager online or via the phone while we were waiting for our food which never came. Zero stars for customer service obviously no food so zero stars there too.

Really sub-standard pie tonight. The pie was not evenly cooked and although I only arrived 5 mins after the text notification saying it was ready, it was barely lukewarm when I got to my car and ate a slice.
I also paid for extra cheese and it was certainly not provided. I stopped eating it halfway through.
This used to be more than just a great pizza spot to visit if you were getting drunk at the bar that the pizza truck is outside of, but now it’s not even suitable for drunk food, because it just makes you crave better pizza.
