I really wanted to like this place. I liked all the windows, and small town cafe vibe. The big menu had almost anything you could want. Then the food arrived. I ordered a breakfast skillet, it was disgusting. Cheap bacon, grisly sausage, and canned sausage gravy. It was gross. Terrible coffee too. Both my wife and I both got violently sick within 4 hours of eating there. Never again. It’s too bad because we really liked the idea of it.

I got biscuits and gravy, bacon, and eggs, plus a side of biscuits and a side of gravy to compare the sizes of their servings. It was cheaper than at other places, and the serving of gravy to go with the biscuits was more than generous! I was amazed at the amount of gravy, in both the meal, and in the side dish. For once, I had enough gravy to soak up with the biscuits. The side of gravy seemed to be as large, if not larger, than the gravy that came with the meal. The bacon was crisp, and the eggs were sunny side up and runny – just as I requested. Perfect breakfast meal.

Typical diner style food and nothing wrong with that. We both enjoyed the food we got. Prices are very good and the menu has a lot of options. The waiter was attentive and friendly. There was another employee taking care of things in the restaurant and stuff was clean. She was doing a great job.

If we happened to be passing through again, we would definitely consider visiting again.

The restaurant is called Tasty Café unfortunately it’s taste less. For the price that I paid for biscuits and gravy I could’ve went to Hardee’s where they made fresh homemade from scratch biscuits. these biscuits were thaw and serve horrible. The fried potatoes were saturated with grease not fried whatsoever and gummy the hamburger horseshoe lacked flavor all the way around first time having tasty Café and I would definitely will be the last.

Service and atmosphere was nice, but the food was only mediocre. I had the Philly cheese steak with was more cheese and bread than meat. My mom had the eggs Benedict which she said the hollandaise sauce was lumpy. My boyfriend had the ribeye sandwich which he said was fatty. They have everything you could ever want on the menu, but I imagine that’s why it is all only so-so.

I got the Cobb salad for lunch today and it was phenomenal! The inside is very nature like with all the windows. Staff were friendly and promptly helped me. Will be ordering again! Prices are also very reasonable.

When I arrived parking lot was nearly full. Usually a good sign; and it was. Good atmosphere, clean and they gave us enough time to figure out what we wanted. My party ordered everything from walleye, double cheeseburger, to ribs and biscuits and gravy; everything
showed up at the same time. Good service too! We will be back

Once again Tasty’s Cafe is under new ownership. The new menu is rather large. Everyday there’s a different “all you can eat” special. The food is very good and the owner is personable.

The ribs tasted bad. Like was old,usually have the best ribs but not tonight made me sick 1/2 hour to hour after eating there and I never ate all of them.
