I’ve ordered from Rangoli Vibrant Flavor of India many times before, but this experience was beyond disturbing.
While eating my food, I found a human nail in my meal. It was small, curved, and clearly a nail — not part of any ingredient.
This is absolutely disgusting and shows a complete lack of hygiene and care in food preparation. I’ll never be eating here again. I’m sharing this so others know what happened and can make their own decisions. No one should ever have to find something like this in their food.

The problem with Rangoli, and a lot of other Indian restaurants, is that the food is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes the food here is absolutely fantastic but then you go back for the same dish, and it is nothing resembling what you got last time. From the taste, color, texture, etc. Every time I go here, it’s completely different to the point where I’m not willing to shell out 50 bucks only to roll the dice on what I’m getting.
I was really excited when I found this place because it was good Indian in the area but I won’t be going back again after the last few times of getting a mystery bag of vibe cooking.
Nice people but you guys need to learn to use a recipe. Curry is already super expensive for what you get but that cost is not worth it when you have no idea what you’ll actually receive day to day.

Got the vegetable samosa and they were FANTASTIC. Great flavor- dipping sauces not something I’d normally go for but I loved them. All food was delivered hot and fresh. I also got the chicken tikki masala. The only complaints I have is the chicken wasn’t how it usually just “melts” in your mouth. The flavor and spice was perfect though. The other thing is it doesn’t tell you it comes with rice on uber eats so I paid extra to ensure I got a side of rice. It will get eaten so that’s not a big deal but they should probably add that! I’m not local but will definitely order here again when I’m back visiting! Also the chai tea is delightful !

Got takeout and picked up. Food is top notch. Got Beijan Bharta, Chill Chicken and Goat Vindaloo. All delicious and fresh. And if you like spicy, order very spicy. They don’t lie, but it’s a great kick with great flavor, not just heat. Definitely order again.

I’m new to Indian food , I tried it from a friend and was obsessed. I’ve tried 3 different restaurants in month. And this is by far the best. Even had it delivered and it arrived like it was just served in front of me very hot ! This is the best spot I’ve had already had it like 5-6 times this week. My go to is boneless chicken biryani and curry chicken . Unlike other places I’ve had the meat is actually boneless without little sharp bones surprising me. I’d feed this food to my child without fear of the sharp bones. . And this chicken is extremely tender. I appreciate the care put into the meals so much I had to write another food before eating ! Thank you a lot for the best experience with Indian food.

This place is getting a 5 star bump from me. As of writing this review it’s the best Indian I’ve had in the Northeast and maybe the best in all of Philly. The food was delicious, I really loved the lamb vindaloo, samosa and garlic naan. This place was empty when we ate here and that’s why I’m giving them 5 stars. Is it the best Indian food I’ve ever had? No but this is really good for the area and I’d honestly like to see more people eat in. It’s a nice looking space that feels appropriately decorated, and very clean (a rarity in the NE). My only complaint is that the chicken in the Tikka had no char so it made me doubt that it was cooked in an actual tandoori oven, I love the flavor a little bit of char brings to Indian chicken dishes. That said the lamb was cooked perfectly. My other complaints are knit-picky but I think the menu is too large in the sense there are a lot of redundancy. I think large menus are intimidating to new customers and that instead of listing chicken, lamb, goat, shrimp vindaloo you should just list vindaloo and have the meats under it. This could be done for a number of dishes and cut the menu size down which in turn is less intimidating. If also cut out all non-indian dishes. I know it’s a trend for Asian restaurants to serve various food from other Asian cultures but it bothers me. I hate sitting down at a Japanese restaurant and seeing general tso and I hate seeing sushi on a Chinese places menu. When I saw spring rolls on the menu here I almost left, glad I didn’t but it makes me feel like a restaurant isn’t committed to the authenticity of their cuisine.
All in all the food was great and I will be back. I hope the quality stays high and if any changes need to occurr it’s minimizing the menu (but don’t drop the lamb!) and dropping irrelevant dishes.

everything was so flavorful and the employees were very nice would 100% go back. I had the butter chicken, vegetable samosas and a dessert which i’m not sure of the name but they were balls in a syrup so amazing.
