We ate here for the first time today and absolutely loved it! It’s a small, cozy restaurant with such a welcoming feel. The food was amazing — it truly tasted homemade with great quality and flavor.
We tried the basil fried rice, pineapple fried rice, and the soup, and everything was delicious. You can really tell care goes into every dish.
Our waitress, Kanya was absolutely excellent- so kind, friendly, and very attentive. She made us feel comfortable and welcome the entire time, and her service really made the experience even better.
We will definitely be coming back and will be recommending this place to everyone we know. Five stars all the way!

A ‘hole in the wall’ restaurant with something for everyone! Our large group ordered several items from starters to soups, rice to noodles, and dessert. I tried all the vegetarian options, and they tasted authentic and fresh. The staff willingly customized orders and brought in food swiftly. Thoroughly enjoyed the food! Limited seating inside. There’s street parking right outside and additional parking on a perpendicular street nearby.

My husband and I have visited this place several times, and every time has been a pleasant experience. There is a young female staff member who is always incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Just happened to come to Proud Thai by chance and was very surprised by the taste, quality and atmosphere of the restaurant.
We ordered Shrimp Panang curry, drunken egg noodles and their salmon. Portions were great, price reasonable and fresh ingredients. Moreover the staff was super friendly and offered us free spring rolls and to top it off free ice-cream at the end.
Highly recommended will be going back for sure!

Cute little Thai spot, ordered to go. Tom Yum soup is good flavor but lacked enough veggies/material other than broth, the rice noodles are good, wide and a little oily. The beef in the pad see ew is too tough, though, so detracted from the experience. Spicy drunken noodles had the same beef problem. Street parking. Will have to try the beef boat noodle later.

The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. We came in as a group with several kids and they weren’t rude to us and were accommodating in providing extra napkins upon request. The prices were pretty standard. There is free parking right around the corner so didn’t have to find any street parking which is a huge plus especially with kids.

Food here is excellent. Had glass noddle soup and it hit the spot on a cold night. Massaman curry was delicious with a good kick to it. Pad thai was also fantastic with great flavor! Lastly banana rolls hit the spot with a sweet center and crunch on the outside!

We only get takeaway, but the food at Proud Thai is always excellent. Flavourful, with good size portions, this is our go-to for Thai.
And if you get there a bit early, they make you feel welcome as you wait. Best Thai in the area.
