When travelling it’s hard for something to feel like home. But this restaurant is amazing. The food is simple but delicious with great prices. But the staff is really where this place shines everyone has been incredibly kind but Rowen really made strides to make our experience great. If I was the owner of this establishment I would be thrilled to have someone like Rowen on my team. Thank you!!

Best to order a combo to protect any hungry tummy growls. Beware though, the tasty shoestring fries get cold fast while waiting for the delayed handmade shakes. Their shakes were deliciously unslurpable. Mine was served with a punctured leaky cup bottom, but I was able to eat it with a spoon for about half an hour. I wanted to try them at least once. They’re airy open entryway is easy to find inside The Cannery near the Galaxy Theater. A three for being flavorful while lacking on some things, but it satisfied.

I stopped by the Steak ’n Shake at the Cannery after watching a movie, and had a great experience. Dan went above and beyond. He was super generous, friendly, and genuinely helpful. You can tell he cares about the customers and the place. Service like this is exactly why. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Absolutely horrible! This was one of my favorite childhood staples, so I stopped in eager and mouth ready. Only for the absolute most heartbreaking letdown. The staff was young and seemed irritated and kept getting upset with the customers. The fries are not the traditional shoestring fries that steak and shake is known for AND they were severely undercooked. I paid eight dollars for a loose runny milkshake, after the flavor that I wanted was unavailable. They need to take this out of the cannery ASAP.
This location is absolutely dreadful. I will never come here, and if I didn’t already like steak ‘n Shake, I would never come back.

Very disappointed at this Steak N Shake location. Go to InNOut nearby instead. The prices are set higher at about $10 for a meal than the franchise locations outside the casino. They were no fountain sodas available leaving me with no choice but bottled water and lemonade. My burger order came out smashed and different than what I ordered. Very sad and disappointed. I had better and won’t return here.

Let me start off by saying I absolutely love Steak ‘n Shake. I just visited the new one inside cannery.
Walked up to the counter, wasn’t greeted, barely any ppl working, unprofessional staff. I got a nutella shake omg it was absolutely disgusting I had the female remake me a strawberry one it was ok as well as my child. They don’t use real strawberries it’s all syrup Hopefully we don’t get sick from it.
Now our burgers were even worse. Not hot, meat tasted sour & fries were frozen. I pretty much bagged everything back up and going to take it back in hopes for a $30 refund
I will be contacting corporate worst experience ever and definitely wasn’t worth $30.xx maybe $10 and that’s pushing it

I had the # 1 combo which is the Double steak burger meal. I would say as my first time trying this spot the only good thing was the fries. The meat was very salty and had no flavor. I would rate this place 6/10. Definitely wouldn’t come back

OMG, never been here before and shall never return. They call the burgers. ‘Steakburgers’ but the meat is super thin hamburger. The amount of pickles and onions leaves no taste for the 1oz Featherlite beef. Zip up your pockets and keep your cash.

Delivery. Delivery service was prompt. However the food: Hamburger Royal and the chili was horrible. There was SO MUCH SALT in the food that it was a bad experience just biting the burger. So I tried my husband’s chili and it was just as bad. The burger had a single piece of lettuce that was so wilted that you had to seek to make sure there was lettuce. Lettuce is supposed to be the cold crunch to the burger. Unfortunately this was my very first experience ordering from Shake & Steak. I wanted to try something different. This was definitely different – horribly different. I just ended up losing about $14.00, and was out of dinner for the evening. Do Better.
