We went out with some friends today to grab some tacos. We also had guacamole and chips, as well as rice and beans. Steak Tacos were good. Everything else was average. We weren’t crazy about the rice and beans. The service was very good, however the atmosphere felt like it was more of a fast food pickup restaurant.

Great prices and ever greater quality!!! The tacos are amazing I always get them on taco Tuesday, but the regular tacos are also really good and massive (which explains the price).
The burritos are amazing, it my delivery go to!!!

Riobamba delivers a vibrant and satisfying dining experience, earning a solid four stars for its flavorful Latin-inspired dishes, warm atmosphere, and consistently friendly service. The menu offers a great mix of classics and creative twists, with portions that feel generous without being overwhelming. While a couple of items could use a touch more seasoning or balance, the overall quality remains high, and the fresh ingredients shine through. With its inviting vibe and reliably tasty food, Riobamba is an easy spot to recommend for a relaxed, flavorful meal.

Great food with classic and robust flavors. Versatility on menu and ordering was easy and without resistance. Lots of fresh ingredients; tastes authentic because it is. Owned by a local Gkenciew resident who loved his heritage and culture that wants to bless his neighbors and community with incredible Cuban food. They also have a food truck too for private parties. Great spot for dine-in, carry out or delivery (check who does their delivery service.). I love their shrimp tacos also their fish tacos. Classic torts was so balanced and authentic. My young son even devoured all his food and rice with beans. They also have amazing flan dessert along with Michicanana palettas and other desserts. Head over and see what all the buzz is about.

Nice little restaurant! The food is good. I was expecting it to be Ecuadorian food given the name of the restaurant and the name of the plate “hornado”, but it’s more Mexican than anything else. Great place for tacos and good service. I LOVED the tostones!

I’m leaving this review solely because of the customer service I received during a recent phone interaction.
I called about a simple order issue (missing items from pick up order and being refunded fully), which required following up three times to resolve. Instead of any acknowledgment of the inconvenience or a quick apology for the hassle, the conversation with Tony felt dismissive and defensive. The tone made me feel like an annoyance just for seeking resolution, and at one point I was told my business wasn’t needed.
That response was surprising and disappointing, especially from a business that I have been returning and referring others to! Everyone can have an off moment, and mistakes with orders happen, but basic courtesy, like a simple “sorry for the trouble,” makes a huge difference in how customers feel valued.
I hope this is taken as constructive feedback and an opportunity to reflect on how these interactions land with people who want to keep coming back. Great food deserves service that matches it.

The staff are friendly, the place is clean, and the service is fast. But the food very much lacks any flavor. The attached photo of the rights and beans should say enough. The rice is probably instant rice and the beans right from the can with no treatment. The tacos were all very bland. Luckily, they didn’t overcook the lamb, but it was very bland. The carnitas and Al pastor were super dry and bland. The only thing worth eating is the fish taco. Sadly, won’t be coming back.

Best kept secret in Glenview, I’m so happy I found this place, great service and even better food. Excellent tacos, such authentic flavors cooked to perfection, the lamb taco and steak taco are a must try. Yuca fries are so delicious I recommend to order 2. I will definitely be coming back

What a hidden gem this place turned out to be! Tony knows his stuff and has passion for cooking amazing, authentic, and fresh food. He had me try smoke Brisket that he cooked/smoked for 15 hours with yucca fries and homemade sauces – WOW!!! Definitely coming back to try Tacos and different meat options very soon
