Just stopped for a quick lunch on the way back to DFW. Their all day Sunday Happy Hour is a great deal! I enjoyed the quality of their sushi as well. If I lived in the area, I would definitely visit regularly. They have a decent variety on their menu, including bento boxes and ramen, so there potential could be something for everyone. The decor was nice and the staff were fast. A lucky find, for sure.

The food was excellent, what I got to try of it. And if this review was based off of food quality it would have been a 5 star review. The service was absolutely atrocious. Our waiter, a young man, only put in part of our order. About 20 minutes into eating when we asked about the rest of our order he assured us that the food should be right out. The waiter then spends the next 20 minutes completely ignoring us. No refills, no updates, nothing! We finally get him to stop and tell him we would like to see a manager. He refused twice to get a manager until we finally insisted and he went to get them. The manager comes out about 10 minutes later holding our order of a single sushi roll. The waiter tried to tell us he wasn’t ignoring us he was just busy…there were 5 tables including us and 2 waiters working. All the other tables received service and food in a timely manner. I believe he forgot to put our order in and instead of admitting he made a mistake he made excuses. The manager was very apologetic, but the waiter was not. I would definitely consider going back but only if I had a different waiter.

This was our first visit. Our order consisted of 3 bowls of Ramen and just lemon water t drink. They were not busy at all. After almost 30 minutes, our food finally arrived. First, our Ramen was not hot. As I take a second bite, I find a hair in mine. Find another waiter, as our server seemed to have just disappeared. He kindly helped us. My food was remade. As I’m waiting on my remake, my son finds hair in his. Our server finally brings my remake out. She asks if we need anything, I tell her yes, some silverware, napkins, and refills on our water, as this was the first time even remotely checking on us. My remake is completely wrong, and I let her know, went on eating. I was starving. Soup was flavorful, but the meat was over cooked and flavorless. To say the least, we won’t be back.

This is our second visit. We stopped for lunch again at this wonderful place. The waitress is extremely friendly and fast. The food was once again delicious and very filing. The tonkatsu is savory. I ordered some jasmine tea at the end of our meal. It is so fragrant!

The service was good, but the food not so much. It tasted good upon the first bite of the two appetizers we ordered, but every bite afterwards was not good. The meat inside the bao bun was great but sadly the taste of the frozen bun just got stronger as we ate. The takoyaki was subpar to other places I’ve been at (Jinya, Daiku) and started tasting frozen after the 1st one. The garlic black bean ramen was good, it just tasted like it needed more so I had to add a lot of chili oil. Maybe those with milder tastes would find it flavorful. The best tasting thing was probably the seafood rice, outside of the seemingly frozen fish inside of it. Everything felt overpriced for what you were receiving. It’s on par with Asian cuisine prices but not with the quality of food served. We also both had a messed up stomach the next day, but that could have a number of causes.

We really enjoyed our visit here! The food was great, and our waitress, Ellissa, was very helpful with menu suggestions. The chashu buns and surf and turf sushi roll were both super delicious! The spicy seafood ramen was supposed to be spicy, but I didn’t taste much heat, and it was a bit on the bland side. Luckily, they have chili oil on the tables to add as well as soy sauce. Overall experience was super great, and we’d definitely come back next time we are in the area.

Swung in to grab some lunch the other day. The food and service were both excellent. The music inside was a little loud for my preference but certainly not too loud that you couldn’t have a conversation at your table.

I ordered the Gyoza appetizer and a Black Pepper Chicken dish that had jasmine rice, onion, green onion, and a teriyaki style sauce. The food was great. You can expect to spend approximately $20-25 per person so not the most budget friendly option but a nice once in a while treat.

Ordered Super Crunchy roll, Shaggy Dog roll, and steak fried rice, which was tasty. Also ordered the tonkotsu ramen and chasu bun. The broth was bland and not flavorful. Chasu was a little dry. The ambiance was nice with booths, tables, and bar area. Service was excellent. Katelyn was on point with the service.

So this is my first time coming here, and I’m a lover of Japanese food, I wanted to try more places especially recently moving over here. I must say this is a good place. I had their buns and Miso Ramen and they both came out great. The ramen was spicy enough that I didn’t need to add more, and the cashu in it was great. It’s not the best Ramen I have ever tasted, but it’s still a good ramen bowl and I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more things.

The wait staff was also very kind and very prompt into checking in on me, albeit it was noon Sunday and only a few tables were seated, still love the cozy atmosphere this place has.
