First time having Firehouse Subs. Went into it very excited. Left very disappointed. 2 stars only as the place seemed clean. Staff seemed all hung over. Ordered steak sub. Came with no onions or green peppers – only meat and cheese. Ordered Mac and cheese – very cold and hard.

Better than other national chain sub shops. Good sandwiches that come in different sizes. They use quality, fresh ingredients. Also offer salads, chili, soups, mac & cheese. To top it all off, they donate to local responder and EMS organizations. Stop in for a sub.

I paid almost $30 for two sub meals. I asked for green peppers, pickles, and cucumbers. There were maybe 5 green pepper pieces, zero cucumbers and a few big pickle chunks. The sandwich was super soggy! Will not be back and I don’t recommend it.

The food is fairly consistent and usually enjoyable. The service is hit or miss sometimes adequate, more times than not rude and dismissive, and occasionally very nice. The restaurant is 100% of the time disgustingly dirty all the way from the bathrooms to the tables to the walls to the floors to the pop machines. It is a great concern that if everything the customer sees can be this filthy, what are the food prep areas like? I honestly wish this was a better run restaurant and had employees that cared so that there would be more offerings in Beloit as far as fast service restaurants. We limit our trips here because of the issues.

A variety of tasty sub options. Quality & fresh tasting ingredients and soft bread. Some proceeds go to help firefighters with life-saving equipment and you can even round up to the next dollar to help a little more if you want. I have had the meatball, the NY steamer and the Italian subs so far and all were delicious. The Italian was served warm which was a welcome change to the usual cold cut type from other sub shops. There are a variety of chip, drink & sweet dessert options available as well to make it a meal. I will definitely visit again.

I had a pleasant experience at this Firehouse Subs. The subs were tasty as usual. Service was prompt. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes and I don’t think that’s too bad for such a great, made to order, sub. I recommend stopping by.
