What a pleasant surprise we had! Best burger i ever had. Very cool older hotel building, warm and cozy. The bartender was very nice and fun. Amazing food and very reasonable prices. I believe wr found our go to place.

I love this place, but tonight I’m very upset with the service and I don’t understand the denial of service. I’ve been coming here all my life. I’m from the Philadelphia and am 23 years old. I have been served alcohol here many times over the past couple of years that I’ve been legal, all with a PA license. Never had a problem. Tonight, the lady bartender denied me, my friends and my nearly 29 year old cousin from Texas for having out of state IDs. She tried to claim mine was expired when it does not expire until 2027. We decided to get our stuff to go and my friend even cancelled our order because that’s ridiculous. My dad came to meet us there, also with a PA license but she served him just fine, no questions. So we know well that the “out of state license” excuse was just that- an excuse. She tried to claim we were arguing with her when we were trying to very respectfully ask her just to check. Claimed she talked to her manager but I highly doubt it. Please please change this. I really want to keep coming here but this is unacceptable.

After a long day of adventuring in December (sorry for the delayed review), we had wonderful burgers and fries. It had a fun atmosphere, with a beautiful bar. We will return the next time we take a drive out that way.

We were for 1 1/2 hrs waiting for our appetizer and ask a number of times. I finally told the waitress if we did not have our food within 5 minutes we were leaving and not paying for anything. We finally got our food after 2 hrs. I will never go back there again. Even if the food was free.

The common traveler would probably drive by and keep going. This place is not a place I would have ever visited without the recommendation. Locals rave about the food. Building is old run down and if the owners fixed it up I believe a lot more people would go and find out this place is amazing. You owe it to yourself to try this place….

It’s a great place and the food is good but be aware they charge addl price for lettuce, tomato, etc. on your burger The other thing is we went Sunday afternoon. The menu was very limited does not seem like they really have specials or even dinners that time of day also if you have six or more in your party, they AUTOMATICALLY add a 20% GRATUITY to your bill good thing I looked at it because they did not tell me otherwise I would’ve added another tip! The fish fry is great and the helpings are big
