First and foremost, I have been leaving here in San Antonio for like about close to 10 years already. I had been here in about Fred’s Fish Fry. Never tried. My wife and I had a craving and needed to fix for some fried butterflied shrimp. We looked up a couple of places and they were just too far or too expensive to what we were trying to spend. Anyhow, we better research so we ended up settling here at Fred’s fish fry and I am so glad we did. We pull up to this place and it’s got pretty big parking lot for people to park at and they also have drive-thru. When we pull up there is only about two people in there and there’s about two cars in the Drive-Thru. So I’m excited cuz there’s not many people. When I go in there I ask some person. Hey man, I don’t mean to bother you but it’s my first time eating here, Is it good and the person responds with hey homeboy this is the only place I come to to get my seafood fix this place is great man. I told him it’s my first time I was just asking To see if he would recommend anything and he proceeds to say that everything in the place is good. Well me and my wife settled on two six-piece combos of butterfly shrimp with fries. Two pieces of bread tartar sauce ketchup. Well as soon as we get our order the boxes are piping hot. The food is hot. I can feel the heat through the bag. I know it’s fresh and I am happy I open one of the boxes up and to my amazement the box is perfectly packaged. It is just not thrown in there. I was truly amazed because the person that was working at the place was just one person and every order that she was getting as I was there she was taking nothing but big orders. This person was just one person but she was amazing. She worked efficiently but most importantly she got everything correct. My extra tartar sauce was in the bag. She greeted me when I got up to the counter. She made sure to read back the order and everything was correct on my order. I did not get this person’s name. However she is a female and she was working yesterday which was November 19th and we went to the location on castroville here in San Antonio at approximately 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. I wish I would have gotten her name but I hope she can remember herself working that day because whoever she is she deserves a lot of credit. She had the store real clean the store smelled good. The food smells good and most importantly the food was great. If I could give this 10 out of 10 I would. Shrimp was big. The fries were perfectly cooked, crispy hot. Everything was perfect from the service from the waiter. Greeting us. Everything was great. So anyone looking forward to looking to eat some some shrimp for the first time? Some butterfried shrimp to a location you never been to. I strongly recommend Fred’s fish fry. This place is amazing. The food is great to some people. It might seem expensive but I don’t think it was. Anyhow, sorry for the long rant, I just really wanted to give this place there due credit but most importantly I wanted to give the girl that was working that day. Her props and I hate it that I cannot remember her name because she truly deserves this. So if management corporate sees this, please send me the name of that person who was working that day. I put the date on here so hopefully you guys can find out who she is. Thank you to Fred’s fish fry and I look forward to going there real soon.

First time going to Fred’s fish fry and it’s was amazing! This location was clean and the young lady working was very polite. Food was amazing! It was hot, presentation of packing was perfect to not get bread soft and condiments in bag. It looked like she was working by herself but it didn’t stop here from handling several customers promptly and knocking out orders. 11/19/3025 Wednesday about 430-530pm is when I went to hopefully get this employee her kudos

Drove up to drive thru 2 vehicles ahead, ordered and then the truck in front never moved, the other vehicle had already drove off, decided to go park and go inside and told them about the truck they went and knocked on window and he was asleep never woke up till I was leaving and our fish could have been better
