I have eaten Sushi since 1987. It is so nice to find a Sushi restaurant right here in Red Deer that has it going on! Very nice to get awesome tasting food, good portions and terrific service.

The BEST Sushi in Red Deer. We have tried multiple places in Red Deer and every time we come to the same conclusion. Sushi Koon is better. The service is good, the people are so nice but the sushi really is just on another level.

Wow – amazing! I haven’t been to Sushi Koon since the new owners took over. I’ve been missing out on the best sushi ever. I ordered (takeout) the tempura, BC cone (so delicious), the chop chop (scallop) hand roll and a spicy tuna roll. All crazy delicious! The service was super great!! Thank you Sushi Koon! I’ll now become a regular even though I live in Olds; definitely worth the trip!

There is great value in what ate today at this Resturaunt, Large Tasty lunch combos and the price was right. I’ve paid for superstore sushi then we paid for a great dine in experience today. Meals were fresh, colourful, and filled with vibrant flavours. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. I would highly recommend trying this place out for lunch between 12-3pm.

Love this sushi place. The owners are so sweet and accommodating to our requests. The food is always delicious. They also have ramen for those that don’t like seafood.
They even provide kid chopsticks for our kiddos.

Was pleasantly surprised to see it was open on a Saturday! We walked in and were immediately greeted by the staff and offered a place to sit. We were given water and menus. They were very nice and took our order with a smile. Food came out in good time. I had the sumo bento, my daughter had the lunch b bento. Plus we ordered gyoza and tuna tataki. Everything was phenomenal, except for the tuna tataki- it was a bit too spicy for me, and not made the same as another place I go to, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Some people probably love it, I did not. But the rest of the food was amazing! The sushi portions were large, and you get a lot with the bento box! I definitely will be coming here again! I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great little sushi place in Red Deer that I surprisingly hadn’t tried yet! Will very likely be going back in near future! Had “Box C”for lunch – everything was very tasty and the staff members were very attentive and friendly!
Back a second time with hubby and very pleased with everything again! This may become a new regular establishment for me! Enjoyed the yam tempura and rainbow rolls tonight. My husband tried the Mexican & Island Maki and for someone who’s not huge into sushi – he said the Island Maki is one of his favourite sushi rolls to date!!!! And I’ve dragged him around to several sushi establishments over the years!!! Will definitely be back again -thank you!!
