Met a friend here for a birthday lunch during the week. The only issue we had with the whole experience was a concrete step up that is located right inside the doorway. There is a sign that says “watch your steps” but it is impossible to see before you encounter the obstacle. I don’t know the solution, but I almost made a grand entrance by falling.

Things improved greatly after that. We had a small table by the window and nice to see that the place was packed. Asma was our server and she couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. I called to see if they could put a birthday candle in a dessert and they could not but Asma brought our friend a complementary piece of cake for his birthday.

The food was wonderful. On a cold day, the mint tea slightly sweetened and served in a small floral pot was just what we needed. We started with an order of vegan grape leaves that were delicious. Not overly oily and wonderfully spiced . The addas soup with lentils, onion and lemon was hot and delicious. Very subtle flavors got one to take home as well. Perfect again for a very cold day.

For entrées, I had the vegan Shawarma wrap with hummus. It was delicious. I can’t say that the Portobello‘s tasted like authentic Shawarma, but I can say that it tasted even better, not that I remember what meat tastes like! The portobellos were tender. The vegetables in the wrap were delicious and their hummus was creamy. Again, got one to take home. Companions had a chicken wrap also with hummus for an up charge. The vegetables and particularly the pickled turnips are delicious. The birthday boy had small eggplants stuffed with grain and was also very happy with his choice. In addition to the above items, also took home an order of tabouli, which was wonderful a perfect blend of garlic and lemon.

We would return in an instant for the food in the hospitality.

My sister and I stopped in for lunch today and we ended up absolutely loving this place. The atmosphere was amazing. The décor and music set such a warm vibe that made the whole meal feel even better. We shared a few things: the shawarma wrap, falafel wrap, za’atar fries, and the halloumi platter and honestly every single dish was delicious. The staff were super friendly and attentive without hovering, which I really appreciated. Overall everything about this spot was fabulous and I’ll definitely be back! (Obviously I couldn’t wait to eat before taking pics)

I’m Latina and usually stick to my comfort food, but Ziatun completely changed me. Everything was so “homie” and hearty. The portion sizes are amazing and everything is perfectly seasoned. We had the grape leaves and the hummus for appetizers and goooddd was so so good.
I had the chicken mansaf and it was INCREDIBLE! My husband got the lamb over rice, the quality and seasoning are just so good!
Plus, our waitress Asma was the sweetest, most welcoming person. I can’t wait to go back I really enjoyed this place.

It’s very tight in there but it’s cute n cozy. The mint lemonade is great! However, I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and it had too much pickle and it’s a tortilla which I wasn’t expecting. I’m not sure of the taste either. The fries when I got them were cold too.:(

The 2 guys are awesome. The food is awesome. It’s a small charming spot. There can be a wait. Expect that. You’ll see what I mean. People will just stand and wait until a seat is available. That’s just how good it is. Got the mansaf. Traditional. Appetizers. Zatar. Mint lemonade.

I went here on my birthday and everything was amazing! The Addas (Lentil soup) 10 out of 10. The onions in the soup was 25 out of 10. I wish I had a whole plate of the onions they put in the Addas! They were seasoned so well. I ordered the Futur Medley. It was all great. They even had great music. My only regret was getting there later. I was not able to get more falafel and hummus, but I will definitely be back! Most likely be will be my go-to when I go back to Beacon.

I was dying to try this restaurant ever since I found out about it. Tight space, but totally worth it! We got Futur Medley, Mansaf and Chicken Kabobs! They also have Drink Palestina Soda which I went home and ordered more in bulk. Owners and staff are amazing! So happy we have this Palestinian gem in our area!

this place genuinely has the best food in beacon and the best falafel i’ve ever had in my LIFE. more than just a delicious restaurant, the vibes are incredibly good here in a way that is genuinely so rare. the staff are the most attentive, warm and welcoming people; asmaa was our server and her warmth absolutely made our day. also i am gluten free and vegan and the menu is clearly marked + there are plenty of options (so many that i had a hard time choosing and i need to come back to try everything, lol) pleaseeeee do yourself a favor and eat here!!!!!!

Small place but with unexpected service and food quality. Super Friendly staff. We went there as a whole family (with 2 small kids) and had a great time. Their fries was a big surprise. They look like any other fries you would eat in a fast food place but they taste like home made fries. You just can’t stop eating them. It seems they use fresh oil to fry and maybe use different type of potatoes. No doubt that their good energy makes the difference!

BRING BACK OLD STAFF OR DEVOTE TRAINING TIME FOR NEW STAFF

– 4/25 Went for dinner after a hike and had the best experience. Service was excellent and food was yummy (5/5)

– 8/25 Wish we just got takeout!! Waited ~40 minutes to be sat outside (never asked our preference and forgot the fourth chair). Poor greeting and manners tbh but seemed like a new hire. Speedy food but given utensils after we finished the appetizer. Get the hummus and rose lemonade but there should be a salt warning for the wrap and burgers. Only two staff during dinner rush?! Forgot feta and staff was not apologetic.

Overall, decent food if you are craving but sadly the dine-in experience impacts your stay.

FYI: 20% tip required for 4 people. Service was not worthy in our experience.
