Absolutely delicious. The staff was super friendly and recommended the best ice cream to get. I ended up picking a brownie sundae and they had different options between which brownie and I could fully customize it with the ice cream and toppings. Super delicious. I will definitely be back.

We popped in for ice cream as we were passing through town. Very cute and clean. My partner and I both got pumpkin ice cream (‘tis the season!) on waffle cones, and they were delicious! I also sampled the dairy-free toasted coconut ice cream and it was also very good!
The staff were very friendly and shared that they rotate through over 60 flavors regularly and always have dairy-free options!

You can tell a lot of heart went into this place. The ice cream itself is fantastic (and yes, they have dairy-free options!). I came two days in a row because I couldn’t get enough of their Mexican Hot Chocolate flavor and still ate it too fast to get a picture. Garrett is absolutely adorable and everything you could want as a representation of anyone’s brand. Robert, the owner, is a total sweetheart. The atmosphere is precious—blue tones, open, and inviting. I’m already looking forward to seeing what they expand into next. Monterey needed a spot like this and it’s only up as they just opened! Definitely check it out, it’s worth pulling off the highway for.

My daughter and I were happily stranded in Monterey for a week while our truck was repaired. Central Tennessee Soda Shop was one of our favorite places to stop by. I appreciated that the ice cream is kosher (with plans for Tennessee’s best Rueben coming soon), and my daughter was impressed by the non-dairy and allergen considerations. What a lovely addition to Monterey!

We stopped here after a visit to Bee Rock Overlook and loved it. Clean, friendly service, and best of all great ice cream and a variety of selections. Talking to the owner and they have bigger plans for the future. Can’t wait to come back.

My wife, granddaughter and myself decided to give Tennessee Central Soda Shop a try and are beyond excited to share our experience with this place.
It was a perfect experience, they even made me a Banana Split that was not even on their menu and was done perfect. The ice cream was of great quality and the business was very clean. The employees were very very exceptional and without question made what I asked for.
We’ll be returning soon for sure.

The milkshakes are really good it sometimes takes a few mins to get served but a really nice and clean,friendly place for the family!

I judge whether an ice cream is good by their butter pecan. I have had theirs, and it is delicious. Tonight, I went back for some, and sadly, they were out. However, they made up for my disappointment by having the sweetest, cheerful staff working. I branched out and got the insta graham. I love it, too.
