A cute little restaurant that definitely makes you feel at home! Our server was kind and attentive and the food was fabulous! Can’t wait to come back.

Ordered the Chicken Mole and honestly it was the best mole I’ve had anywhere else and we traveled all the way from GA. Our server was really nice. The place was cash only when we went, but we didn’t mind that at all. Recommend this spot if you’re looking for some really good Mexican food!

Food was actually good, after reading reviews I was a little worried the stop wouldn’t be worth it.

The beans and rice were my favorite part, their hot sauce was yummy, tacos were good. Chips and salsa was good, most of the chips were stale. I don’t think we got one of the tacos we ordered but was ok.

It was hot in there.

It was warm inside and the service was VERY slow. Sat for 20 minutes before our drink order was taken. They weren’t busy either. They only have 3 options for drinks -modelo, corona, and margarita. Nachos were good and prices were fair.

Plenty of parking. Clean, relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly and courteous, very accommodating for our large group. Food was delicious with huge portions. Highly recommend the Alambres! Added bonus, the location is just a few minutes from Mt Rushmore!

Don’t listen to the self-entitled blowhards, this place is well worth the visit if you enjoy authentic Mexican food. My server was direct and quick and the food was delicious and authentic. I ordered the very reasonably priced 5 taco special. I may as well have gotten them from an old-school taco stand in Anaheim. Classic, Mexican tacos.

God bless Michelle and may her establishment be prosperous for a long long time.

This is the 1st time I’ve ever NOT enjoyed Mexican food in my life. Neither my spouse nor myself finished our drinks or our meal.
The margaritas were super sour and the salted rim was so thick we had to wipe off a spot to drink from.

I had chicken fajitas, it was a very full plate but almost tasteless, and the chicken pieces were dry. The onions n peppers were excellent in texture, but no taste. The rice was luke warm at best and the refried beans were cold, neither had much flavour.

My spouse had Chile Rellanos and similar feedback. He just couldn’t be bothered to eat it all.

Sadly disappointing.

Food was good, rice was bland. What really made me give this a bad review was the flies in the restaurant and the lack of consistency. We were going to dine in there were so many flies we couldn’t stand it, landing in my child’s hair, we had to order to go. My husband waited inside while my child and I waited outside, there were bees everywhere. They were out of a bunch of different soft drinks. My husband and I both ordered coke it came in a bottle mine was a 20oz his was a 16.9oz.
