If you want to try Hong Kong/ Macau food, this restaurant is the one. However, the food is a bit too salty for me, I even added sugar to my curry. But since they have so many other food on the menu, I will still go and try different things.

As a long time resident of the San Gabriel Valley this is the worst Hong Kong Cafe I’ve ever been to every single dish that came out was raw. I’m not even sure how you messed up a steak but it was overcooked on the outside and straight up raw on the inside. The pork chop bun was raw. the eggs were raw. I asked them to cook it further in Chinese and it looks like they just flipped it around on the plate. Do not come here.

This place has gone downhill since Tam’s. Today we went it was busy we were just waiting inside and the manager yelled at us in Chinese telling us to just wait outside. He didn’t just stop there he actually escorted us out and kept yapping something about us blocking them. We were fine to wait outside he didn’t have to go all out yelling at us. We’ve been here without issue before but after this experience it shows they don’t care and we don’t plan to return. We just walked over to KW in the same plaza and even though they were just as busy they were at least more respectful and courteous towards their customers.

Dishonered restaurant.
I usually keep the receipt and have just found that they increase the tip themselves. The amount they increased is not much, but you could feel the staff/ waitress are not honnested. It never happened to me since I have been to several hong kong style restaurants at Rowland Heights

Food is great!! No complaints, hope they will keep the same chefs forever.
Because the restaurant is popular, its always busy, even after 10pm, so the service sometimes is not that great during their busy hours.

Some items on the 3-5p Tea Time menu are actually regularly priced. Overall great experience and will def come back

nothing to compliment, typical chinese restaurant service, over priced, unrealistic decor, not a single memory of what real HK nor Macau cha chan tang is actually like, typical LA style cantonese cafe, nothing authentic. Only good thing opens late

“The food is expensive and doesn’t taste good anymore. It’s very salty and not up to the usual standard. The service and dining environment are okay.

They have gone downhill. Rude staff, very dirty bathroom, food worse than before at Tams. Used to be a regular at Tams and not going to return.

The food was good when they first reopened. Now is terrible… sad. Also the parking lot is not safe to park at night.
