Delicious dinner tonight at the Fat Crow! I had the crab cake appetizer and my husband had the Lobster Bisque – both were excellent! He had the Ribeye with bone marrow butter and mashed potatoes and I had the baked scrod with dirty rice and both entrees were superb. We both had wonderful side salads also. The vibe was great with the blues playing and the service was excellent…….Highly recommend.

AWESOME STAFF! Very Cozy and New Americana bar! Loved the flags and motorcyles! Nice selection of beer and wine! Burgers and fried chicken were delicious!

On everything that I hold dear, including my poor grandma, may she rest in peace, please for the love of god stop making pizza, better yet, close your doors. This restaurant made me seek god with how awful the food was. How in the world can 2 contradicting things be true at the same time. My pizza was completely raw, cheese not even melted, but tasted like a burnt boot. The worst part is, I hadn’t eaten all day, and I’m not the type of person to drive back to the restaurant and complain, I’ll just sob and eat the thing. Make no mistake, tears were shed both on how expensive the pizza was, and how utterly terrible the quality was. They say wood fired pizza, they best send that wood to culinary school, cause it can’t cook pizza worth a damn. Also, why the hell can I not a see the price of the food on their own websites menu. It’s like they’re trying to hide the price, so by the time you’re there, it’s too late to back out, and you just deal with it. It’s a shame that a good eating establishment had to burn down, for this atrocity of a restaurant to take its place. I used to like pizza, but I don’t know if I can recover from this.

Large menu with plenty of drink options – you will always walk away satisfied. I’ve eaten here many times and am so greatful for this local gastro pub.
Coming from Brooklyn, my pizza standards are high, and Fat Crow does not disappoint!! It’s fantastic actually. I’m always happy for breakfast pizza leftovers!!
My two complaints are:
I wish they were open more days
I need Fat Crow merch in my life!

Cool room. Good vibe. Loved the Copper, wood fire pizza over that was visible from the entire room. Great local beer menu. Food is slightly above the average pub grub. On the night we were there, service was super slow. Servers blamed a new cook, but it took 20 minutes for someone to stop by our table to take our drink order. We placed our order then and there. It was a two hour ordeal…for a two top. I felt bad, a four top a few tables over – three of the four were served. The fourth had to wait 15 minutes until his order arrived. Not bad for the only place in town.

Over the past three years, every time we’re in Newfane, VT, we make sure to have dinner at the Fat Crow. The staff are always wonderful, the food is exquisite, the atmosphere is super friendly. In my opinion, this place is one of the best in all of New England. We have tried everything from, fish tacos, to the rib eye, to the pizzas. Everything is delicious! Can’t recommend the Fat Crow enough

We had the clam chowder which was fantastic. We ordered the fungus umungus pizza and wings which were also great. Pizza wasn’t consistent in the past but has gotten much better. Staff is great. Atmosphere is fantastic. Highly recommend reservations as it gets packed!

Driving home from Stratton, hungry and craving beer. Past by the Fat Crow and turned around. Lucky we did. The entire experience was exceptional and just our speed. We sat at the bar and everyone was friendly and chill. The pizza looked and smelled amazing, but we opted for the tacos and eggplant fries. Delicious!!
