We had their Pho and egg rolls last night and both were fantastic. It was the best Pho I’ve had in a very long time. The broth was delicious and you can tell they make it with love and care. The chicken and shrimp were cooked to perfection and incredibly tender, and the portions of both were very generous. Everyone there were so sweet and friendly and the service was very fast. I can’t believe we have such a gem in Lago Vista!

Went to the new Bamboo Garden in Lago Vista the other night. We ordered chicken in garlic sauce and combo lo mein with added extra vegetables. They were great portion sizes and oh soo delicious!!! The chicken in garlic sauce was just the right amount of spice(heat) and bursting with flavor. Service was fabulous and atmosphere was also nice. There were a lot of people dining. I will definitely be making this a regular stop. Being able to bring in a bottle of wine was also wonderful. Can’t say enough good things about our experience!!

Update 07/01/2024: Seems like new owners again, the food changed again but it’s pretty darn good. The wonton soup was amazing, with sweet peas, carrots, green onions, shrimp, chicken, and wontons. The food is still pretty expensive, just over $50 fro two people, without any drinks.

We used to come here when it was Wok N Grill and we were excited to give the new owners a try. They spruced up the inside with a new layout and some decorations and nice music. The service was good. The food quality could be improved. There was too much sauce on the sesame chicken and general tso’s chicken… and the sauce was very thick (too much corn starch most likely). The flavor was good, with the right amount of heat on the general tso’s chicken. The pork egg rolls were also good, but they don’t seem home made. And they now serve sushi which is a nice option for Lago Vista. And while I wasn’t expecting a $65+ bill for two people, we are definitely full and have leftovers for tomorrow. We will give this place another try in a couple months and hopefully I can raise the rating.

Man great flavor on the beautifully fried golden chicken. Just needed more delicious sauce. The egg rolls were crisp and tasty.
If you get the craving for good Chinese food, don’t drive to Cedar Park, we have a great restaurant right here in Lago Vista.

Finally got around to trying out the New and Improved Bamboo Garden Wok N Grill. Everything was fantastic, from the sushi to the hot sour soup, walnut shrimp appetizer and all of the main dishes. The sushi was better than any sushi place I have been to in Cedar Park area. The waitress Krysthel was very kind, caring and friendly and so were the owners who we found out used to live near us in Pasadena California as well as near my sister in Weatherford Texas, small world. We will be back and very soon. A+ Guys!

King Pao chicken – no taste at all, lots of big chunks of celery and water chestnuts, waters down sauce, paid extra for fried rice and it was not good; looked and tasted like they tossed it in frying pan for a sec. Good portions, but a little pricey for the same quality you’d get at panda express. The menus you can find online or inside are outdated. Expect to pay a few dollars more for everything. They’re claiming it’s due to meat prices increasing.
We called to order, and they got our order wrong. I only realized after we paid because they didn’t show an itemized receipt beforehand. They did swap it out and just charged us the $0.55 difference. Came out pretty fast, probably 10 minutes after.
Staff were neither exceptionally friendly nor rude.
The meat for both the chicken and pork we tried were a little dry. The fried rice was definitely dry, but good if you mix it in some sauce. The noodles were good.
Overall a good place if you are craving some American-style Chinese food in Lago Vista, and don’t mind paying a few extra dollars for the convenience.
