The Traveling Fork
From the moment we pulled up, it felt like something special. The historic charm of the mansion hits you right away—beautiful staircase, elegant rooms, cozy velvet seating tucked into little nooks. Every space felt thoughtfully styled, warm, and intimate.
The food? Unique and absolutely delicious. A perfect balance of creativity and comfort, like the place itself. Service was fantastic—attentive and friendly without being overbearing.
And then there’s the patio… Wow. We finished our evening out there under the lights with a glass of wine and didn’t want to leave. It’s the kind of place that makes you linger—and makes you want to come back.

If a fancy ghost opened a wine bar, it would be exactly like Grafted.
This stunning historic house in Belleville is full of charm and character—from the winding staircase and ornate trim to the bold wallpaper and vintage furniture. It feels like you’re sipping cocktails inside a storybook (or a slightly haunted novel, in the best possible way).
I had the Ms. Hibiscus—a refreshing, floral gin-based cocktail with hibiscus tea, lime, and grapefruit soda. Light, vibrant, and just the right amount of fancy. The cocktails are fabulous and reasonably priced, and the wine menu is huge—perfect for any level of wine lover.
The outdoor patio is a whole mood: twinkle lights, lush greenery, and bocce ball courts. Whether you’re there for a date night, a catch-up with friends, or a solo vibe check with a glass of wine, it’s a must-visit.
I didn’t try the food this time, but I absolutely plan to go back for it.

We happened upon Grafted by accident while day tripping and decided to go back and try it. The wine bar is located in what is, perhaps, the oldest building in town. A great history as a home, a law office, an apartment building and now a stunning wine bar and restaurant. The wine selection is very well curated with great prices by the bottle or by the glass. A limited menu but you will definitely find something to please everyone. This is definitely an adult space with intimate rooms and cozy seating. The service is fantastic as well. You should do yourself a favor and check it out. The space alone is worth the trip but once you sit down and relax with an awesome glass of wine you will be glad you came. Highly recommended.

Also, l went out for the night with some friends and only at the end of the night did I realize that I had misplaced my credit card. I walked into Crafted and immediately they recognized me and gave me back my credit card which they had stored in a safe area. I was told that they tried to contact me and even my friends in anyway they could, but were not unable to get a response. Very honest people and a great place. Would definitely recommend!

Stopped here for a quick sit down while antiquing. We got a bottle of sparkling rosé and a cheese and meat board. Everything was delicious and the vibe was extremely relaxing. Soft music and plenty of seating. The owner and her husband took great care of us. Im not from the area but we will definitely make a special trip to come back.

A great list of wines but just ask Magda what you like and she will find the perfect wine for you, even if it isn’t listed! This is a very neat historical space. Choose your room to choose your vibes, whether you want to go back to the early 1900’s or more modern or sit outside on the very nice patio.

They are newish in town, but unless you have a favorite I would strongly suggest that you let them pick your drink for you. Don’t forget to test your skills at bocce.
