Pretty good restaurant inside the embassy suites. The food was pretty good. It was a little on the pricey side. Service was very slow but we were not in a hurry so it was fine.

We came in with a group of 12 and had an awesome experience at Cool River Restaurant and Tavern. Our server Bryce was fantastic—kept the drinks flowing and made sure everyone was taken care of from start to finish.
We started with a few shared appetizers: the ribeye quesadilla, wings, and the Cool River salad—all fresh and full of flavor. For my entree, I had the prime rib with a loaded baked potato, and it was cooked to perfection. Others in the group had the ribeye, filet mignon, and a burger—everyone was happy with their meal.
The kids in our group were just as pleased. They loved the mac and cheese, pasta with butter, and chicken tenders—great portions and kid-approved.
Great service, great food, and a great time all around. Highly recommend!

Cool River Restaurant & Tavern food is fantastic, everything was cooked exactly how I wanted, had an amazing waitress her name is Ava, I highly recommend this restaurant if you are the Chesterbrook, PA area. Restaurant is also very clean and well taken care. I would like to thank Cool River Restaurant & Tavern Staff and Management for a great experience and always checking in to see how food was cooked

My wife and I got food poisoning after eating at this restaurant. She had a burger and I had the Grouper sandwich. Next day my wife started throwing up uncontrollably, but I was fine. About 4-5 hours later I started throwing up uncontrollably too. Now it’s coming out both ends.

Stopped off to grab a quick snack and was very disappointed. It took 10 minutes to order a slice of chocolate cake to go. We then brought it back, and the cake was melted and stuck to the container and tasted very bland. For $10 a slice, we were extremely upset. Tried to reach out to manager and was told ‘there is no manager.’
One good thing about this place is the atmosphere. It is located inside of a hotel, but there is a nice waterfall behind the tables and it is very cozy.
Unfortunately, this is your standard chain hotel restaurant….

The food is excellent. My cheeseburger was outstanding; my husband thoroughly enjoyed his blackened grouper sandwich. Yummy sweet potato fries. The hospitality was gracious and attentive. They let us know upfront that they were short-staffed and asked for our patience, but we didn’t find our wait long at all. We will be back!

Quick seating, customer service is AMAZING! Being served like royalty is a warm feeling.The gumbo is my favorite, it was a little spicy but it was delicious! The brisket quesadillas were good but lacked seasoning. It was a great experience & will return my next visit. The restaurant is the definition of fine wine & dining!

Amazing bar in the lobby of the embassy suites. Ample space and great bourbon and beer selection. Food is great with a wide variety of options ranging from wings to prime rib to salmon.
