I want to love it or at least like it but I just can’t. This is the third time I give it a shot and it just get worse.
Quality of ingredients is terrible.
I ordered a Queso Fundido / choriqueso and the consistency is just wrong, the cheese is just shredded cheese not even melted. I’m Mexican so I know what a dish looks like.
The molcajete was very small, comparing to the first time we ordered it.
Food is really lacking.
Sadly, this is the last time I’ll be ordering/ eating in this place.
Guacamole was good tho.
Definitely worth driving somewhere else than the convenience of having Amadas 5 min away.
FYI the picture is after putting the cheese in the microwave

I don’t normally write reviews, but Amada’s Kitchen absolutely deserves one. I dined here this evening with my niece and her kids, and from start to finish, it was an amazing experience.
The waitstaff were incredibly friendly, warm, and genuinely sweet, which immediately made us feel welcome. The food, though—wow. Beyond delicious doesn’t even begin to cover it. The homemade guacamole was to die for, and my burrito tasted like it was sent straight from heaven. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love.
Although I live over an hour away, this place is 100% worth the drive, and I will definitely be back. To top it all off, they made my niece’s birthday truly special by surprising her with a beautiful, absolutely delectable cake and singing “Happy Birthday.” It was such a thoughtful touch and made the evening unforgettable.
If you’re looking for incredible Mexican food paired with outstanding service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Amada’s Kitchen is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed this little spot. The food was prepared and presented very well. The taste met expectations. It was a little pricey, but what restaurant in NY isn’t pricey these days. Very clean and not cramped like many Hispanic restaurants I’ve been to.

Edit: They renovated and it’s even better!

Food is great although not 100% authentic. But service is great and the drinks!

Overall, I’d come back. I got the Enchiladas with rice and a salad. The red sauce had just the right amount of kick. The chicken was a little chewy. The irony of my meal was that I was most impressed with the side salad. The size and quality with lots of added vegetables (peppers, radish, and tomato) was great. The service was prompt and friendly.
