We were pretty skeptical coming here due to all the back-and-forth of reviews on Facebook and such so I figured it would only be right to try and judge for ourselves. Upon entering, we were immediately attended to and seated provided with menus in the lady. Seating us was extremely nice about it. We had four adults and two kids with us so we expected it to be a little while and settled in. They have a nice pinball machine the kids watched and played as well as a tv or two. The pizzas came out within a reasonable time and everything turned out great. The pizzas were hot and looked amazing crust was completely done all the way through and the toppings and cheese were all cooked to ideal standard all in all we’ve ordered a couple times since definitely recommend if you’re looking for something outside the normal pizza here in town.

The pizza was delicious, and I’m very picky about my pizza! The sauce was good, the cheese was great, the veggies were yummy (although could’ve used more)
The one thing I’m not okay with is the price. Other than that, 10/10 on the pizza, just wish it was more affordable.
The “garlic” cheesy bread was honestly terrible. It had zero garlic taste, it seemed like it was just spongy bread with plain butter topped with cheese. The cheese on it was the only good thing, but overall i can not recommend that.

The BBQ Pork pizza- Fantastic. 5/5. Crust is great. Be careful, these pizza’s are huge!! So think about that before you order. Pick up only, but worth the pick up. Will order again.

My first pizza from Tommy Mater. Ordered a 16-inch pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions.
Outstanding, I dont like doughy crust, the crust was cooked and chewy all the way from the center to the edge. The sauce was good, but, could have had a bit more sauce, depends on your preference.The toppings were generous and fresh.
I chose delivery the pizza arrived right on time hot and fresh .
I would highly recomend that you try them for your next pizza.

Over all, I would say the pizza isn’t bad, but certainly not my favorite. I found the crust to be rather flavorless, like just a flour, yeast, and water mix kind of taste. What really stood out to me, though, and my family agreed, was the sauce. A lot of pizza places I frequent have at least a somewhat sweet profile, but not here. It was more of a sour/bitter (my son called it astringent) profile, but it wasn’t super strong. It simply stands out next to some of the other pizza in town for its flavor. I certainly can’t complain about their pie size, though, the medium I got was nearly as big as a large at other places, so that was a plus. My friend said she got a pizza here, closer to when they first opened, and said she thinks they’ve improved some over the last couple months, so I can see trying them again in a couple more, to see if anything has changed. The real downside to me, and I know this will be taken the wrong way by lots of folks, is that they have a big screen TV back behind the old bar from this place’s VFW days, and they had Fox News on. For a restaurant that offers in house seating (they still have the bar stools and some booths), having such a biased channel on will certainly deter some folks from wanting to revisit, or at least eat in. Also, I feel like maybe it’s just better for most businesses to leave politics at home, but that’s just me.

Best pizza in town by far. The crust is amazing and full of flavor. They use a heavy amount of cheese and delicious toppings. We had sausage and black olive and can’t recommend this place enough!

I ordered the 2.99 special sat. evening. Hardly any cheese & the sauce was so spicy I could t eat it. Staff was not friendly what so ever. I’m glad I tried it. I hope nothing but success for your pizza establishment!

Ok so I’m going to give a fair pizza rating and review and not be a hater. Definitely get your money for the pizza, we were looking for a NY style pizza that is decent in the area. The crust is actually very good, although the middle of the pizza seemed too doughy. Could be thinner in the center of the pie, or precook the dough a bit. Pizza was saucy enough which is a plus. Cheese was not bad, all mozzarella is the best for a cheese pizza, but it’s better than provolone on pizza. All in all, I think if the center of the pizza was a bit thinner, it would be a higher rating. The value for the money is great. Moving here from NY it’s one of the better pizzas in the area for sure. Rule of thumb for pizza, if the cheese pizza isn’t great, toppings won’t help. I would bet the toppings are good as well since the plain was pretty good.
