I live in Victoria but was running an errand in Rockport. We don’t have Indian cuisine in Victoria so needless to say I was *thrilled* to stumble across Spice Magic! The staff was warm, welcoming and happy to make recommendations. The food was hot and delicious, with sizeable portions and fast service. There is plenty of outdoor seating and much of it is shaded. If you’re in the area and in the mood for authentic cuisine, I’d highly recommend stopping by.

You have to eat here!! Their food is literally cooked with passion. This wonderful food truck is now part of our daily dinner selection. We hope that they can open a restaurant one day because they get very very busy. This is worth the wait, any night and any day!

Food was good BUT these guys are super unethical and fraudulent. Moreover the guy when I asked him if food was ready he just said I was “disturbing him”. ?!
They charged me 4$ more than what was listed as price on the menu for chicken biryani and then a white couple came and they got charged exactly what’s listed on the menu price. When I questioned them they made up all excuses and then finally got to the point of saying I am making a scene for $1.
I pointed out repeatedly what they did was not right and unethical and even the white couple were stunned by this.
Will report this to the city and also for consumer protection.

My first time eating Indian food and it was amazing. I ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan. The portions are large, I got 3 meals out of my one order. The food was delicious and the service was great. I will be eating here again the next time I’m in town.

We are so lucky to have this restaurant in Rockport. We ordered Chicken Tikka (insane), Lamb Biryana (great spice) and Palak Panner (awesome!), veggie Samosa (yum) and the Garlic naan was flavorful, thin & cooked perfectly. Fresh ingredients.

What a great addition to the Rockport food scene!!! Really, really good food. Butter chicken: tender chunks of flavorful chicken thighs in a creamy tomato sauce with delicate spices and a touch of sweetness. The paneer dish is perfection! The sauce is creamy and assertive in its flavor. I’d never had anything but saag paneer but this iteration is a little more subtle. Good samosas with a good ratio of filling to pastry. Rice is perfect. I’d like to see raita added to the menu.

I went with a standard- chicken tikka masala & garlic naan. Both are tasty & generous.
The crew at Spice Magic was friendly from my phone call to order all the way through my order pickup. A newer food trailer located in Fulton, Spice Magic has a few picnic tables for eating nearby but my experience with a to-go order was pleasant.

I feel fortunate to have Indian food offering this caliber in Rockport. Fabulous. I asked for Lamb Vindaloo which is not on the menu, and they didn’t hesitate and it was excellent, as was the naan and fried rice. Not sure how to rare the atmosphere of a food truck, but I gave them a 5, since the food was a 6+.
