I stumbled across this place and was sad that I wasn’t more hungry because the food there is outstanding. The service was really great, shout out to Marco for providing excellent service even though I only had two tacos. I love very much the decor and hear it feels like you’re in Zacatecas add a family friends restaurant and they are going to throw a party. It’s a nice little Oasis on this strip of Sherman Way. Last the food is outstanding. Both of the tacos, the alpha store and the shrimp, which was not grilled and popped in the mouth it was so fresh, or outstanding and made me want to come back another time when I had my full appetite with me. And the salsa was outrageous– the spicy tomatillo salsa and the aguacate was excellent but I found the spicy salsa remarkable, it’s made from tomatillo and chiltepín and it’s not something this gavacho has experienced in the United States. Great work is being done here and you should make an effort to go there

Have come here a few times now. Owner Jorge is amazing. Makes drinks from scratch with fresh ingredients. Tacos and appetizers were filling and delicious. But i was most in love with the churros with caretaker. Delicious-ness in every bite!

This place is great! Service is fast and polite. The food taste amazing and it’s not super expensive. Their happy hour menu is really good and the Javier is an awesome person! He’s the boss and is very passionate about his work. He also knows the importance of keeping your clients happy. I highly recommend this place.

Seeing all these good reviews, I had very high hopes for this place. I came with an empty stomach to make sure I’d enjoy every single bite. But man was I disappointed. It started off alright. The salsas and chips at the beginning are pretty good. We got the menus, placed our order with the waitress and waited. Then we waited some more. And then some. We finally got our plates and I had a big smile and big hopes. I love chiles en nogada. I get very nostalgic. The chile was alright. Nothing out of this world. The nogada tasted more like sweet cream than actual nogada. It definitely needed more pecans. My kids tacos tasted pretty good and they didn’t complain. My husband’s meat plate was not good at all. The steak was overcooked and he had to ask a again and wait for the tortillas. By the time the tortillas finally arrived, his plate was cold. Our waitress didn’t bother to check on us a single time the whole time. Didn’t offer us refills, nothing.
A bit off about everything, we requested boxes to go & the check. To our surprise, the bill was off by about $4. We look at the items listed, and the prices are not the same as the prices listed in the menu.
Weird vibe, mediocre food & customer service, zero attention to detail, poor customer service, overcharge on bill. Needless to say, we are never coming back.

Five STARS the food and service were amazingly great. The waiters were very attentive, the manager also came in to check on us. At the end they even offered us churros that were so delicious.
