My boyfriend and I visited this place for the first time recently and were so impressed by the operation! It’s located inside this bar that during the day turns into a daytime workspace/brunch space. We were greeted by the owner who was taking orders at the front. He showed us his faves on the menu and let us have a seat. We ordered a smash burger and the Apple of my Rye. Both were amazing!! The owner even brought out a cupcake to try and my gosh everyone needs to order cupcakes from here for birthdays. I can’t believe we just now found this spot. The owner Patrick is so nice and hospitable. You can tell he loves what he does. 100% recommended!! The pics are of my smash burger and cupcake. We ordered to-go but the vibe was so cute we decided to stay. We will come back for sure!

We’ve come here a number of times over the last few years. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional! The name ‘Nice Guys’ is so apropros as they really are the nicest guys. They give off great positive energy. The drinks are also amazing. They make a number of their special sauces and drinks in house (the bbq sauce and the current brown butter corn latte just to name a few!) We have always had the best experience whenever we come in. Their other customers are always super friendly as well. And I don’t even have words to describe the Fri to Sun cupcakes made in house. They are always a surprise with very unique flavors.

Came for the drinks at The Long Room but was (unexpectedly yet pleasantly) surprised the food at Nice Guy. Highly recommend the smash burger (single patty w/ pepper jack cheese, unless you’re feeling double) either with a side order of smash potatoes or French fries; neither will disappoint…nor will any of their other offerings (the mushroom melt is fire too!).
And the name fits the staff perfectly as the individuals with whom I’ve had most interactions, Jeremy and Bradley (the chef), are nice guys. Good weekend spot for brunch!
(UPDATE: Tried the double patty. Just as good as the single. Unless you’re feeling hungry, proceed with caution if getting a side order of smash potatoes or French fries…haha! Also, that bun…again, you will not be disappointed.)

We stopped in for brunch and it was amazing. My husband had the classic eggs Benedict and loved it. The eggs were perfectly poached. I had the English muffin egg sandwich with bacon and cheese and it was amazing. The English muffins and buns are made in house and you can’t get any better than that. Definitely want to stop in again and try the smash burgers! We also loved the atmosphere of being in The Long Room! You definitely need to go there!

Admittedly, I may be a little biased because it’s hard not to compare this to the restaurant that was formerly in this location. However, the other day I came in for coffee at the Long Room (attached) and breakfast here. I paid $6.00 for an egg & cheese English muffin and $3.50 for a half order of smashed potatoes. Honestly, I wasn’t excited to see the prices of the breakfast sandwiches; the menu sounded tasty but seemed to be a poor value for the prices, so I stuck with the basic egg & cheese.
The breakfast sandwich was good. Nothing amazing; nothing too disappointing other than the value for the money. Classic egg & American cheese on a white English muffin. Hard to mess that up.
The breakfast potatoes were very good, although too salty for my personal taste. The seasoning blend was nice, though.
All in all, decent experience. I will always return for the coffee at the Long Room and would probably have the Nice Guy potatoes if I’m here, but I won’t be going out of my way for the food in particular.

Breakfast: The egg and sausage muffin and smash potatoes are absolutely delicious. The Long Room has you totally covered on your caffeinated beverage needs while you wait.

ohhhhhhhh yummmmmm! Stopped into the long room for nice guy food brunch. I got the breakfast sandwich with egg & cheese. My partner got a chickpea burger and we both inhaled our respective orders so quickly and possessively that we didn’t let each other try ours, so that speaks to how good it was. And the smashed potatoes were so good!!!! Highly recommend dropping by and grabbing some breakie
