Mr. G’s is an awesome ice cream spot in North Myrtle Beach! The menu is huge—with everything from soft serve to classic scoop ice cream. They even offer a modest hot food selection if you’re in the mood for a quick bite. Plenty of outdoor seating makes it a great stop after the beach. Highly recommend for a fun treat!

Want a great burger, fries, and a drink (I recommend the ice tea), Mr G’s is a great place to patronize. We usually get it to go as it’s only outside eating.
If it’s ice cream, we’ll enjoy it at one of their outdoor tables.
The service is super fast, extremely friendly, and the pricing is very good.

We enjoy walking to Mr G’s from our condo. The kids always look forward to ice cream in the evenings. Its very affordable and the staff is super friendly. They are busy, so you may have a little wait but, it’s worth the wait.

5 stars all because of Debbie showing me her garden. Plus, the food was yummy, and this place was within walking distance from where we were on the beach. A Veteran owned business, it’s a great little spot that looks to be the staple of the area.
Edit: I have to give props to Alberto and Victoria and Felix. And the rest who we didn’t have the pleasure of meeting personally. I had the privilege of meeting Aunt Lois before we left for home. Being able to talk candidly with Debbie and Aunt Lois was a treat me and my stepson will treasure forever. Hoorah! #GoArmy

We go here every year and it is hands down the best!!! The owner is always there, making sure her business has top-notch customer service and is successful at it. The ice cream selection is huge and so yummy. They can make it any way you like it, soft, hard, milkshake, in a cup, on a cone!! So, if you’re in the ice cream zone, this is the place to be…trust me, you will see, the milkshakes will bring all to the windows!!! 6/14/24 Guess who’s back, back again!! Same story new trip. Tell a friend, it is still awesome and a have too every trip we make!!!!

Great ice cream but no dairy free ice cream. Would have given 5 stars but one of my family members has a bad reaction to dairy and Mr. G’s advertises dairy free ice cream. It’s also listed on their current menu. Please take dairy free ice cream off your current paper menu if you’re not carrying it. For those who want dairy free the CraftyCow has great dairy free ice cream. Otherwise Mr. G’s banana split was excellent.

Great place for ice cream, we walked over from our VRBO a few blocks, great location. Staff are friendly and service is quick and accurate, so many options for hard ice cream flavors too! Definitely recommend the birthday cake, salted caramel, and moose tracks.

We stopped in specifically for a funnel cake. My husband and I grab one from every vacation spot we visit. I was really disappointed bc you can’t mess up a funnel cake,.right? Wrong. The flavor was off for some reason and I couldn’t figure out if it was the actual batter or the powdered sugar. It tasted stale. The funnel cake itself was very soft and absorbed the grease. Most funnel cakes we get are crispy outside with chewy center. The powdered sugar was very clumpy. Doesn’t take much to sift powdered sugar. We did also try the fried oreos…they were very good. I DID shake off the powdered sugar though. We will give it another shot though. Service was fast and the cashier was very nice.
