I just purchased the Crispy Pata family & lumpia shanghai The crispy pata meat was chewy, the skin was not awesome. I was hoping I would enjoy but was disappointed with the food quality. I just hope you would maintain quality food to keep up with your name. Service was great though & a little smile would go a long ways…

This was my first time eating Pilipino food and I wish I could have tried everything in the menu! If you love rice, you’ll definitely find something. Try their signature dessert for sure.

I got some pancit malabon (not palabok) on Xmas eve. I am very disappointed! It smells like the shrimp were rotten and not washed. I placed it in the refrigerator. My ref smells like rotten shrimps. The noodles itself were spoiled so I have to throw the whole tray. No more pancit palabok from this place.

We ordered:
Longanisa with egg plate, Beef tapa with egg plate, Pancit Malabon, and Bibingka were all 3.5 stars; Crispy pork sisig and Puto bumbong – 3 stars; Putong puti,
Fresh lumpia and Lumpiang prito – 2 stars. Putong puti was almost getting rancid. The fresh lumpia was all veggies- mostly cabbage and doused with overly sweet sauce. The fried lumpia was smaller but just the fried version of the fresh lumpia. Service was friendly. Area was relatively clean, but we had issues with the sticky table.

Bought tray of pancit malabon and 50 pcs lumping shanghai yesterday. Usually no problem with the pancit, it’s always good. Yesterday when I reached Fontana and opened the pancit malabon, it smells awful. It’s not spoiled but to my dismay, taste different. Cabbage is so bitter and the smell so bad. We were able to eat half of the tray and take off cabbage from the noodles.

Manila Sunset never fails to impress with their delicious offerings. The bibingka is an absolute delight, offering a perfect blend of flavors and textures that truly ignite the taste buds. The sago’t gulaman, on the other hand, didn’t meet expectations, as it lacked the desired flavor balance. Despite that, Manila Sunset remains a go-to spot for its standout bibingka that’s sure to leave you craving for more.
