Corazón de Agave, a family-owned Mexican restaurant, opened its doors in March 2024, offering an authentic taste of Mexico. With traditional plates like the Tampiqueña that is made up of a grilled to order 8oz choice outside skirt steak two enchiladas and all the fixings. The traditional Pescado a la Veracruzana our fish filet bathed in our home made Veracruzana sauce over a bed of white rice. Our Mexico City inspired Huarache, and of course our freshly made Enchiladas with Red, Green or Mole salsas. We strive to offer the authenticity of Mexico here in Phoenix, AZ.

Drove past this place the other week with my boyfriend. We both wanted to check it out cuz it looked like it was popping! My boyfriend decided to go there this week for his birthday dinner and boy did it go above our expectations! I’m so happy we have a great place for delicious Mexican food with an amazing atmosphere and service! The service was over the top (I did not catch the name of our waiter but he was amazing) he went over the menu and then what a surprise when my parents mentioned it was my boyfriends birthday highly recommend! (Better pics for another time)

Blown away by this food honestly! I lived in Mexico 1.5 years and don’t typically like Mexican restaurants here but wow! The Flautas were 10/10 and the guacamole appetizer was HUGE (6 of us shared and had extra! Birria tacos were delish! The service was great and we will definitely be returning.

We came for lunch the other day after my parents had heard about it on TV saying it was one of the top in the country. It is definitely more of an upscale, high end place but we were treating ourselves! All the food on the menu sounded amazing. We had tacos, guacamole, and huaraches. We also had the horchata and coconut-lime drink. All were delicious! The service was great, but it did seem like only one guy was running everything. He answered all our questions and made it a great experience. I just think he could have used some help as it took us a bit to get our waters. Recommend if you’re looking for a small fun place for fun takes on Mexican food and some nice drinks.

I recently visited this wonderful restaurant and had an incredible dining experience. We started with the octopus, which was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also tried the melted cheese, which was absolutely delicious and rich, a perfect balance of flavors. For dessert, we had the flan, and it was out of this world—so creamy and smooth, with just the right sweetness.
What made the experience even better was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Guillermo. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. His hospitality really added a special touch to our evening. I highly recommend this place!

5 stars does not give justice to the amazing service we had yesterday! Found this spot on Tik Tok so decided to give it a try and we’re not disappointed! The food was very good had 2 appetizers(bone narrow and por belly) very good and some mixed fajitas. Did Not know it was karaoke night and ended up staying 4 hours. Made us feel right at home was more than a dining experience. The service Luis gave us was exceptional and made the whole night great(recommend a raise). Corazon de Agave won a repeating customer for sure

Great family owned and operated cozy restaurant with homey service and excellent food. Thoroughly enjoyed Friday dinner. Outstanding Cadillac Margarita. Horchata slightly too sweet and thicker than typical but good. Chips tasted homemade and accompanying salsa were not standard salsa verde or red sauce. They were more complex without being overpowering. Accompanied by refried beans with cojita cheese. Beautifully plated Flautas and Chile Rellenos, both generously portioned. The ⭐ though was the Pescado Veracruzana with its richly seasoned tomatoe sauce and perfectly flaky catfish. Finished with the Chocoflan featuring unexpected textures. We missed camarones tonight which we look forward to fixing.
