First off, this visit was september 15th 2025 at 3:05 pm. I was the only customer there the entire time. And I will say the girl at the counter was very nice. The food was alright, its not bad but its not as good as some other panda express locations. The app said my order was ready but it wasn’t for 5 more minutes before she called my name. And when I got up there she informed me it wouod be 7 more minutes before my spicy orange chicken entree would be done cooking. Not sure why the app said it was done at that time.

As far as cleanliness it was terrible. One of the workers played on her phone in the dining area and went outside and came back about 5 times over the course of an hour. She was wearing a motorcycle helmet the whole time. Not sure what that was about. The tables needed wiped off, floor needed swept, trash was overflowing everywhere, no soap in the bathroom, paper towels or toilet paper. I like this restaurant its just needs someone managing it that cares a little more.

Decided to stop and get a bite to eat after doing some shopping. We went in and was met by a greeting and smile. The food left a bit to be desired. It had been out a bit probably. I fondly recall other Panda Express’s and fresh warm food – this was not one of them.
Most of the tables were dirty: I used a napkin to clean one a bit to sit and eat.
Something that looked bad to me, and probably bad for business: employees out in the parking lot smoking marijuana.

I bought the Kung Pao Chicken and Honey Chicken while the wife had Walnut Shrimp and Beef and Broccoli. The main amount of food was noodles.

Probably won’t return to this location.

Just not our type of Chinese food. This chain has consistently made my granddaughters list of favorites so my wife and I thought we’d give it a chance, we like Chinese food. Last time I listen to a 4 year olds dinner recommendations. The food was not very good but the staff were very friendly. The nice lady at the counter even offered to have my wife’s choice freshly made for her, didn’t sound like this was normal but it was appreciated. The site was pretty clean and easy to get to. My expectations are always high when it comes to ordering food and this chain did not meet expectations. It was quick however. We may try the chain again to ensure it wasn’t a store concern but we’ll have to weigh our options.

I just ordered & had it delivered to me at work, like an idiot trusting it would be right.
$27.28 before tipping is too high but its even worse when you do not get what you ordered. I ordered orange chicken but I got some kind of spicey chicken. I ordered hot mustard but I got soy sauce. I would not have wasted money on eggs rolls had they called me & said hey we are out of hot mustard do you still want your order…
Everytime I go to this location in person they dont listen to what sauces you want they just grab whatever. Im allergic to soy sauce. Giving me that was useless. No one wants this kind of food without the sauces.

I visited Panda Express around 2 p.m. and found a lot of food on display but no customers. I requested a few items to be prepared fresh. The honey walnut shrimp and super greens were no problem since they were almost out. However, when I sampled the honey sesame chicken, I noticed it was soggy. I asked to sample the orange chicken, but the lady worker informed me that I couldn’t keep sampling. EJ mentioned that they couldn’t make more honey sesame chicken because it would go to waste, as there was already plenty of soggy chicken left. I wanted my food fresh, but this was an issue. Instead of ordering two plates, I opted for what was prepared fresh. Just be aware of the food quality at this location.

I am officially finished with this location. I have given this place chance after chance, time and time again, and every single time they prove they are completely incapable of getting a simple order right. It is honestly mind-blowing how consistently incompetent the service is here.
I came in for a simple meal. Three items. That’s it. I wasn’t asking for a catering order for a wedding; I just wanted dinner. But apparently, even counting to three is too difficult for this crew. It’s the same story every time I come here: I pay, I check the bag later, and something is missing or wrong. These people are useless at anything other than receiving a check. Which they don’t even have to do anyway, since it’s direct deposit.
The final straw? I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken. You know, the dish literally named after the sauce? I get all the way home, open the bag, and guess what? NO TERIYAKI SAUCE. Are you kidding me? You gave me a container of plain, dry chicken and expect me to be happy? What is the logic there? Do you expect customers to just have their own supply of commercial-grade glaze sitting in their pantry?
It is negligence, plain and simple. You had one job: put the food people ordered in the bag. If you order Teriyaki Chicken, the sauce isn’t an “optional accessory,” it is the entire point of the meal!
I am so tired of having to babysit my order and check every single container before I leave the drive-thru. It shouldn’t be this hard to get a standard menu item served correctly. If you want to throw your money away and eat dry chicken, go ahead. Otherwise, stay far, far away from this place.

This is the second time I ordered beef and broccoli and they gave me about 3 little pieces of beef. What a scam. I was gonna order orange chicken because they never give you any beef with the beef and broccoli. Should just call it “broccoli” at this point. Then they said they’ve been out of orange chicken. Very disappointed. Definitely check your beef portion before you leave the window!

KNIFE TO MEAT YOU
I found a gluten free option here, it’s the Teriyaki Chicken with Mixed Vegetables and NO BASE SAUCE. It can’t be guaranteed GF, but no wheat, barley or rye is in this dish, just cut the sauce. The Chile sauce is hot and would give Tabasco a run for it’s money so…you’ve been warned. It’s open and new at the time of this review and I experienced no problems on this visit but if you do keep in mind they are working the kinks out just like any new restaurant would. Food was delicious that I had, and given the limits of what I can eat I can’t give a more expanded review of the other menus items. The people were friendly and everything was clean, including the restrooms. When you come here, turn at the light like you are going to Wal-Mart and head right.

I’ll feast here anytime I travel to Alexandria and have a need for quick, tasty asian.

*no actual Panda is on the menu, fyi. I know we locals like our exotic game meats so… just so ya know.

Been to this location twice now just to go through the drive thru and wait in the parking lot for my food. The place was empty with nobody inside and I was the only car in the drive thru, still took 12 minutes to get my food, same thing happened when I came before. Also, what’s the point of the drive thru if they make you order at the widow and not the place with the speaker and menu. Definitely don’t recommend this panda express if you’re on a time crunch or are accustomed to a normal drive thru meal experience.
