I am so pleased that I get amazing meal in a hotel restaurant. The food is awesome. The French onion soup is made from scratch and is perfect. The ribeye is cooked perfectly and the flavor is amazing

I wish I could give zero stars. Day at the bar for over an hour and fifteen minutes and drank my watered down mixed drinks with an open menu in front of me and thought I may have become a ghost. The price of a Gander Burger with all the trimmings and onion rings would have been $32! Since they seemed like I did not exist, I overly tipped for my drinks went outside for a smoke and to drop this review. At least the review came in a timely manner. Wow! For a place like Embassy to allow such a dumpster fire of a lounge/restaurant to exist is very very disappointing to say the least. I would highly recommend a complete and total overhaul of the staff immediately!

Staying at the hotel so decided to grab dinner… won’t eat here again. Service was terrible, our server left mid ordering to clarify something and then didnt come back, I had to tell her we werent done ordering. The food wasn’t good. The greek salad was served without greek dressing… and then we were given italian dressing. The fries were undercooked.
And the service was SLOW (we were the only table in there….)

Stayed for the weekend. The Ganders Restaurant staff were fantastic. The build a burger is simple but with the Chef knowing how to cook a burger makes all the difference. Plus the 2 slices of cheese is wonderful. The Chili is house made and absolutely wonderful. Could have eaten multiple bowls. Two thumbs up!

My husband & I had a lovely time at the Gander Restaurant within Embassy Suites Hotel. All the staff were top knotch friendly. Happy Hour had really good Nacho chips & different dips and drinks. The meals were fantastic. The Classic Club House with housemade chips were delicious. It was a huge meal at a great price. We’ll definitely stay here again. Kudos to the chef and staff!!

The hotel was fine, definitely could use some repairs asap. The only reason I’m leaving a review is for the restaurant inside. In 30 years I’ve never had such terrible service. The bartender/server was the only one working and could care less about anything other than her drinking, eating and talking to a customer at the bar. There was a total of 3 ppl including myself and fiancé, we had to go up and ask for drinks, menus and food.
Our potato skins took 50 minutes to come out and our main food never came and after an hour and a half I asked for the bill she had a very bad attitude.
Very shocked this restaurant would allow someone half dressed and drunk to be allowed to work here. Never again.

The food at this place is great. I’ve been here many times and everything has been good. What separates this place is the service! 100% of the reason I stay here is the service from Jill and Cheri at the Ganders restaurant! I come back here nearly every week because of their customer-focused, friendly, fun personalities! Everyone needs more great employees like these two!

Very good for a hotel restaurant. Food prices are fair, but a la carte so expect a larger bill if you are looking for soup or salad with an entree. French Onion Soup is a find. It’s deep and well seasoned with gooey cheese and croutons. Key Lime Pie is very good it’s dense and decadent compared to the fluff others want to serve. Service is friendly and casual. My only complaint are the limited hours. As the only dining at the hotel, no lunch service is disappointing and dinner service doesn’t start until 5:30pm, despite being shown as 4pm online

What a find! Generally don’t expect from most hotel restaurants, but wow! The food is delicious. The staff at the bar was excellent! Jenay &Cheri were fantastic!! Jill is a gem and provided some of the best service I’ve had in years! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Gander’s is a restaurant in the lobby of the Embassy Suites. I ate there a couple of times while staying at the Embassy suites, when I did not feel like driving out for dinner.
The staff was very friendly. That, and the convenience for hotel guests, gets the 2 stars.
The food was just OK – cafeteria type food. Hungry, and late night, it worked for me.
