Traveling and seen this restaurant along the way. The young lady at the counter was so nice and helpful made service so much better. We purchased 4 meals paid around $45 total. I tried corn pudding for the first time it was good. I like that they advertise local small businesses and had an A on store inspections. Real clean and now serves breakfast. They also had the coffee table I call it with the older men who have conversation and read the paper. The waitress knew them by name I smiled.

Great homemade food! Reasonably priced. Great homemade lemonade and sweet tea. I had the piggy tator bowl with the gravy on the side. Very good! I thought, “Where else can you buy a ‘piggy tator bowl!'” Others ordered fried chicken livers and the bacon cheeseburger all enjoyed their food. A must stop!

We stopped in here on our way to the jack o lantern spectacular and I have to say we were not disappointed. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is more of a personal taste issue than anything they really did. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel right at home.
The sodas tasted weird (like the way most sodas do when you’re not in your local area – we did not say anything because we have experienced it before when not being around home), and for me the biscuits and gravy were a bit spicy (like spicy sausage was used).

We were on the road and decided to pull off and this happened be at the next exit. We had ten people in two cars we pulled in and we were welcomed. The waitress was on her first day. She was friendly and thorough. The food was excellent. The pork tenderloin I ate off someone else’s plate with the white gravy was unreal! I ordered a bacon burger it tasted homemade. This will definitely a stop the next time I come down this highway!
