China King in Indianapolis is a great spot for tasty Chinese takeout! I had the chicken lo mein, and it was delicious—perfectly cooked noodles, tender chicken, and fresh veggies. The portions were generous, and service was fast and friendly. Definitely a go-to for comfort food!

Part of my band came here while on a trip to Indianapolis to eat Chinese. These people were serving upwards of 80-90 kids, quickly taking orders and getting through the line. The wait time after ordering stayed pretty short despite the insane number of people. They were very nice people and the food was great. I had the sesame chicken and it was very nice. The rice that came with it tasted wonderful. The best thing I had here was the crab rangoons. They were crispy and very generously filled with cream cheese and crab bits. If I ever find myself back in Indianapolis, this place is my go to.

Today was my first time ever ordering from China King. You can only order carry out, but I wanted to eat it at home anyway, so that was fine. The place is small, but it’s clean and organized, and doesn’t need to be big for carry out orders anyway. The lady that took my order was very nice. I got alot of food for a decent price. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It came in a fairly good sized container that was filled to the top with alot of chicken and fried rice. It also came with a large container of sweet and sour sauce and a fortune cookie, all for a total of $7.52. It was very delicious and I will be going there again when I’m hungry for Asian food. Also, I love that their lunch hours are from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. Thank you.

I got the Mongolian beef but the proper name should have been onions with a couple ounces of beef. Two eggrolls. 18.00 to go. Shame because It taste good but I can only eat so many onions. Everything is to go. Not enough sauces.

Definitely had better Chinese than this. Pork egg roll had no noticeable meat and cabbage tasted old. Have had better egg rolls from frozen food section of grocery store. Chicken lo mein was a similar story. Think places downtown would pride themselves in their food but I guess they just rely on having a good location instead of good food. Tossing this and getting rice king on my way home.

The WORST!!! If I could submit ZERO stars I would! I ordered “fried rice” it is yellow rice with peas and carrots, sweet and sour chicken that was little pieces of fried crispy crunchy dough, and shrimp and lobster sauce that was all horrible!The shrimp egg roll has no shrimp just cabbage. The shrimp and lobster sauce was a messy mixture of mushrooms, peas, carrots, shrimp and little mushy white substance that was supposed to be lobster “I think” but looks like what is left over floating in the water after you boil crab legs… and NO SAUCE! Disgusting! The menu does not state anything about mushrooms. I have never seen anything like this in my life and I have traveled all over. I kindly called and spoke to the manager, Demi(or something like that), nicely when I got home to explain that I can not eat this bowl of whatever this was and she was very rude! I told her I can not come back and have to get rid of this so I asked for a refund. I had to order another meal from a different restaurant and pay for delivery, tip, and fee. She was NOT ACCOMMODATING AT ALL. She did not care! This was my first and absolute LAST TIME ordering anything from China King and giving them my money. I don’t care if it is free. The customer service and food is horrible!!! I normally read reviews before my first time going to a restaurant and I regret not doing so this time. DO NOT EAT THERE!!!! You will be highly disappointed!

Hot food. Really hot. But what is it? I swear I don’t know if that’s chicken honestly. Such a weird texture but the flavor they throw together have you taking bites til you get to the wrong piece and it’s like, oh man what was that? No lie, stick to the veggies or something. Quick service ordering online.

Seasame Chicken tasted awful, Shrimp Fried Rice tasted like the shrimp was old and frost bitten which gave the rice a very bad taste, Shrimp Egg Roll was burnt and too soft cabbage. Waste of $20.
