Loco usually always gets an easy 5 stars with me. This location seems to serve small portions than O’side, escondido, and the many others I visit in San Diego County. Not sure why when the prices are the same. My meal was good, therefore 3 stars.

I went to the drive through last night, and got a chicken quesadilla. The top was burnt and inside was Just SO GROSS. It felt like they shoved in all the left overs from the trash can. I tried to eat it but half way I threw up and tossed it in the trash. I didnt even give the chicken to my dog to try. Their food is not inexpensive for fast food. They need to fix whatever hell that’s going on.

Stop by this location late afternoon in hopes to pick up dinner for my family after a longs day of work. To my surprise I was informed that there was no Chicken available. It is real disappointing that you go to a location expecting to purchase what they are Known to sale but not have the product available. Do Better Pollo Loco. Had to grab dinner elsewhere.

Always yummy, hot and fresh, but be prepared for attitude when ordering through the drive thru. Their speaker keeps breaking up and lots of static. The person on the other end got overly frustrated because she had to repeat herself. The chicken tortilla soup was really good. Service was fast.

This is not your typical Pollo Loco…this is more like your mom and pops favorite restaurant.
The first thing you notice is how elegant and SUPER CLEAN this place is. You are met by very friendly quick employees. Food is ready within 5 minutes and warm and delicious to see. The chicken does taste better too. Did i mention how clean this place is? and the employees wont stop cleaning…. even the tables that are already clean lol.
Awesome job all these employees, managers and onwers do at this location. * * * * * * * * * * 10 stars from me.

Chicken bowl hardly had chicken. I’ve gotten these at other locations and noticed significantly less protein. I don’t know if it’s just this location or if it’s new policy but was very disappointed. Customer service was fast and great tho. Clean spot too!

Friendly cashier, however, cook/chicken chopper wasn’t wearing gloves while working and chopping chicken. Until he realized, customers looking and grabbed gloves to wear it.

I love El Pollo Loco. This locations execution of the Corp recipes is a joke, embarrassing. Gave them two chances but will never go back. Leather chicken and the new Tacos had a pinch of meat. Pics are of rhe $5 tacos..Go elsewhere.. oh, and we said No onions

The flavor as always is amazing and the freshness of everything they serve is amazing too. Clean restaurant. Follows Covid guidelines and staff is attentive. Lots of parking and kid friendly. Drink fountain is open.
1 ☆ is due to the size of the portions. I have been to many Pollo Loco restaurants before and have never had this issue. The pieces of chicken were tiny. The wings were the size of a large paperclip. The drumsticks were the size of my thumb. The salsa cups were bigger than the thighs and the breasts were an A cup. So disapppointed and still hungry.
