Fat Fish is a fantastic spot for authentic Goan seafood! I ordered the Butter Garlic Prawns, which were incredibly flavorful but came with a lot veggies which I didn’t appreciate. The Kingfish was really soft, melted in your mouth and was served in a rich gravy. For dessert, I had an Apple Pie topped with a scoop of melting vanilla ice cream. Flavour was there but portions were on the smaller side. Highly recommend going once during your goa trip.

Although the fish and chips arrived slightly cooler than ideal, it remained impressively crispy and delivered excellent flavor. The kingfish curry with rice stood out as the highlight—richly spiced, deeply flavorful, and offering the authentic seafood taste that enthusiasts seek, complemented by a notably generous portion. The prawns masala, served with garlic naan, was equally impressive, with bold, well-balanced flavors that paired perfectly with the warm, aromatic bread. Overall, the dishes were fresh, skillfully prepared, and consistently satisfying. We would readily return and strongly recommend Fat Fish to fellow seafood lovers.

As the name of the restaurant it’s really a “Fat Fish” like accomodating restaurant with Goan vibe but poor service due so much occupancy.
Overall it’s an Ok restaurant because food quality is Good but service and atmosphere is average as guests won’t feel that welcome vibe after entering.
We waited for 10 – 15 mins as it’s very occupied in weekends in waiting zone.
The starter Fish item & main course fish item had same masala flavour which was spicy and good.
We ordered Solkadi but wasn’t the good taste as seen in Konkan side restaurants.
Tried Goan Cashew feni for first time which was good.
Our total bill was ₹1862 for 2 people which seems Ok.
Would recommend for one time visit only for alcohol drinkers only.

On the second last day of our trip, we really wanted to end on a perfect note with an authentic Goan fish thali. We had two recommendations — Fat Fish and Fisherman’s Wharf. So we first went to Fisherman’s Wharf, but honestly, it turned out to be a disappointing stop. The options were very limited, prices felt overpriced, the ambience was just okay, and the aroma inside was too much seafood-heavy — it didn’t feel comfortable. So we decided to skip it. Then we headed to Fat Fish, and the moment we saw the long queue, we knew the place had to be good. Luckily, since we were just two people, we got a high table pretty quickly.
And yes — it was worth it. The taste, the service, the ambience — everything was genuinely satisfying. We did have to wait a bit longer for the food to arrive, but when the thali came, it truly felt worth the wait. There are many places in Goa for a fish thali, but Fat Fish really stood out for us. Perfect way to end the trip with some amazing Goan flavours. ✨

Went to the restaurant for lunch on a public holiday. It was extremely crowded. Average waiting time was from 10-30 min. We had stuffed crab, shark and prawns rice all of which was very well prepared. The service was not that great. It took sometime for the waiter to attend to us because of the crowd. Overall worth a one time visit. They have vegetarian options as well, we tried aloo paratha and it was good.

No doubt by far it’s one of the best Goan restaurant. They really serve till late afternoon. As we reached at 3 the bigger one had a wait time of 30mins so we went to the smaller one just beside it. We got a 6 seater table and ordered all the sea food starter and for mains we just ordered one plain rice n Goan prawn curry and to drink few beers and mocktails. Everything tasted so good. I can’t even forget the taste. I wish u people open in other cities. Crab, prawn, king fish, calamari all were too good.
