The Mexican food here was amazing! We didn’t expect the food to be that good. The brewery is very spacious and a very comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely come back here when in town to eat and have a few beers

Pretty chill place. Music was guitar riffs, mellow stuff. Full line of beers, from the milwaukee brewery and Amherst brewery. It is located in a refurbished old (old) church. Food is available, though I did not try it. The beer is excellent, they known their craft and don’t rely on gimmicks.

Probably my favorite brewery in Milwaukee!
They’re known for their aged and darker beers but had plenty of other options – their pale ales were great & they had a Mexican lager that was quite good. They seemed to always have a new release whenever I went back
Very reasonably priced!
It’s in an old church. Very chill vibe. I went there to do some writing and another time with a large group of friends. It was somehow perfect for both.
Always lots of people around but never felt crowded
The food was from Trouble Makers. They used the kitchen onsite. It was quite good but a little high priced for what you get.
The staff were exceptional. Very friendly and helpful! They will help you find the beer you’re looking for. Also great with recommendations for other places around town

Super cool venue nicely updated. Spectacular bartender was amazing. I always was a fan of the beer but having on top was great. Love seeing places like this renovated downtown to revitalize some great locations. They have some great lounge areas on the 3rd floor overlooking the whole bar area. And how can you complain about an all gender restroom. I really wish I still live downtown.

Love that they converted this old Pabst building to fit CWB. So many different levels here. I love the chill vibe here for sure. Everyone comes here for the beer, but don’t forget some food while you are here as well. The loaded fries are AMAZING!!!

The building is the first German Church in Milwaukee, then owned by Pabst. The atmosphere is wonderful. I had a flight of 5 beers and all were excellent. They have a great selection to choose from. We didn’t have any food but I highly recommend a visit.

Love the history of the building! They did a really nice job preserving the vibe while making it functional for a brewery. The beers are great per central waters standards, and I love that they kept their pricing the same as their Amherst location. Beers can get pretty pricey in the city. Loved the patio out back, the artificial grass made it easy for the kiddo to play next to us.

Breweries located in historic buildings just speak to me. This one’s located in an old church. The outside is exactly what you see and expect with the church but the inside has been updated to a modern style keeping all of the old character. The beers are excellent I have a wide selection from Lagers, to Stouts to Porter’s, Sours and more. They offer up free games that you can enjoy wall sitting. And even have food on some days of the week. Great place to come in out of the cold and damp and enjoy a quality beer.

We had a great time here. They have a nice space, it has a nice atmosphere and is well decorated. We did not get to see the beer garden or explore much though. For a brewery about to celebrate 26 years they do have a tap list that reflects that experience. Lots of good dark beers, pilots, small batch, barrel aged, etc. Also, the company was very good. We spent a while talking to our bartender and other patrons. One of my top 10 breweries we’ve visited.
